Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software.   1. I see that this report is now available, however, will it be able to show the total cover counts for past dates? When i click on the report, it just launches me into Clover Dining and shows me the current open tables. I need this report to show me how many total guests we had on specific past dates.

  2. Ability to add different service charge percentage or fixed fee for different sections of clover dining table mapping. Example Dine-In section 15% to go order 5% banquet hall section 10% but all sections are working tables that are simultaneously be used live in a site.

  3. It would be extremely helpful if we could define a Start & Stop time for each Day selected when configuring a Daypart.
    If a business is open until 2AM on a Monday, for example, it would be nice to be able to configure a Daypart that extends from 10pm on Monday until 2AM on Tuesday.
    Example 1:
    My Bar charges $0.25 cents more for drinks Friday from 7pm - 2am & Saturday 2pm - 2am

  4. When Applying discounts it discounts the whole ticket. We would like to be able to apply our military discount to just the veterans meal and not the whole ticket. Please and thank you!

  6. Enable the option to add chairs to a table layout based on their actual physical position, mirroring capabilities found in other POS systems.

    Expand the available object types and shapes for designing the restaurant layout.

    Allow the vertical orientation for table/object names within the layout view.

  7. Allow the ability to assign an existing or add a new customer to a specific guest at a table directly within the Clover Dining app, rather than only through the Register app or Customer app. Guest Naming: to assign individual names to guests seated at a table.

  9. Merchant would like the online orders to be credited under a specific employee and email instead of just the owner email.

  10. We support a very busy bar that is concerned with preventing theft. They do over 2 million in sales a year, so preventing Bartenders & Servers from deleting an item from an order all together was considered too restrictive. Turning that option on had them ready to take Clover out the next day.

    We currently have "Edit printed items without override" turned off for Servers & Bartenders in an attempt to limit theft. Unfortunately, this prevents the Bartenders from being able to select the + on a previously ordered item when a customer orders a 2nd or 3rd round of…

  11. The chef has a better understanding of which food items are available during the day. Can we please add functionality that would allow the kitchen to 86 an item from the KDS rather than going to a station/flex/mini.

  12. Add a print status icon to the Clover Dining "tables" and "bar and more" items showing the print status of the table/order. Perhaps a printer logo colored red when nothing has printed, yellow when some item have printed and green when all items on a ticket have printed.

    Similarly add a kds icon perhaps displaying white for no activity, yellow for active orders, red for orders past the bump threshold and green when all items have been bumped.

  13. Clover Dining still does not have any sequenced check numbers. This is not a suggestion, this is a necessity to all restaurants that handle cash. I have been calling and posting for a while with no real regard for concern in return. Check numbers are pivotal to book keeping and making sure no one is stealing, So the lack of concern from Clover is real disheartening. All I'm being told is it can't be done, but every POS has this so I am very confused.

  14. Printing each individual qr code at a terminal and then scanning them in to a computer to put them on a fancier style seated menu is tedious and relentless work. Others have a native funciton that allows me to download the qr codes themselves as images. this should be a thing. i have 8 veneus and have had to do this 8 times, i will be opening 8 more and to be honest it is sort of a deal breaker not having it

  15. When a server fires their order, rather than the computer closing the table out, but leaving the server logged in and on the dining room floor plan screen, we should be able to turn on a function that logs the server out entirely. When you have 8-10 servers running around and someone forgets to log out, it's easy for someone else to start ringing their order under another person's name. Servers often forget to lock the computer when they're done, so this issue is fairly common.

  16. The ability to send to different bar printers (or not at all) depending on where the item is ordered from, or at specific times. For example on weekend nights, when a secondary bar is open, the drink order could go there for pickup by servers. Or if bartender rings in a drink it doesn't need to print at either bar, and risk being made twice

  17. There was an update to the system last week that removed the ability to hold down on an item to change the quantity. We utilized that option all the time. Now, if you hold down you can change the item availability.
    It would be nice to have the quantity back. Or, at least put a quantity bar at the top of the screen on the handhelds.

  18. Allow the option to add a guest count at the top of the order receipt, even when no specific items are assigned to individual guests. This helps chefs better plan and coordinate food preparation for table-sharing scenarios.
