Welcome to the Clover Services Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

  1. There should be the option of having payment links that display in French. This is a legal requirement in Quebec of any commercial page having French, otherwise it is illegal in this province.

  2. I would like to formally request the ability to delete unpaid, expired invoices dating back to 2020. We do not use the Clover Virtual Terminal Invoicing for all billing purposes — only for sending past-due payment requests to patients. It is frustrating and inconvenient that there is currently no option to remove or archive these old, unpaid invoices from our dashboard.

    We now have invoices over four years old cluttering our unpaid balance section, many of which have already been written off as bad debt in our internal medical records system. This not only complicates our accounting process but also…

  3. Please allow the manual closeout of the current batch on the Clover dashboard. Right now manual closeout is only available on your Clover POS terminal. However, if we are away from the business and need to do a manual closeout remotely, we would need this option available on Clover dashboard. Please add a button under Clover dashboard > Finances > Closeout > View Current Batch. A manual option on dashboard would help greatly. Thanks.

  4. There should be a filter for reporting that allows you to choose transaction type. As of now, we can only print a report that separates the debit and credit card transactions. The end of day batch emails only contain card transactions, but there is no report that can mimic this information. My intent is to isolate the cash from the card transactions.

It would be awesome if Clover could create barcodes natively for inventory items— no third-party apps needed, select the inventory item and print the barcode on the label printer, so they can later scan it. Merchants could instantly print labels from Clover, saving time and simplifying inventory management. Seamless, fast, and fully integrated

  6. I am writing to express our concern regarding a recent change in the Clover dashboard. Previously, the cellular data portal displayed the device names alongside the serial numbers and SIM numbers, which was incredibly useful for our operations. However, in the latest version of the dashboard, this feature appears to have been removed.
    we use to see the device names in the clover flex terminals also which was so handy they have also removed it

  7. Please, Please, Alphabetize the locations listing on the new Menu. The old Menu had all merchant locations organized alphabetically. The new Menu forces you to review the whole locations list to locate the one you need to switch to. Very inefficient and annoying, when you have a long list of locations. Please

  8. Please need option on Daily terminal reports for larger Font. New Regular & Condensed Reports on the terminal are great, but Older and visually impaired users have a hard time reading such a small font, as well as older P500's have a hard time printing clearly at that font.Somewhere between current font & font used for "Closeout" would be perfect, with bolding on the section titles.

  9. Several prospect merchants and existing merchants have requested the need for a membership or subscription for the services plan. Customers could choose to sign up for a recurring monthly subscription which will allow them to book X number of services per month. An example would be a color salon, customers can book as many touch-ups as desired during the month.

  11. can you add an option to print a second payment receipt automatically please. We have to select manually each time to print a second one. When we are not fast enought to do it, it's been a long for nothing. Second opinions, is there any options to write the invoice # before pass the device to the customer. This way, we won't need to print a second payment receipt. ?

  12. Client would like to be able to decipher order types via the dining application for reporting purposes. Business Type: Hibachi, instead of the order receipt showing "dine-in", the client would like it to read Hibachi 1 or Hibachi 2, in order to determine which server waited on the table to determine sales and tips, the idea for is for the information to show within the employees reports.

  13. Please integrate skip the dishes as well to the clover system same as uber eats and door dash (canada)

  14. We urgently need a proper invoicing system link with the Clover inventory app, with:

    Consecutive invoice numbers (no gaps, easy to track)

    Tax ID integration (to comply with accounting requirements)

    Customer ID for proper tracking

    Easy search and history lookup by invoice number, customer ID, or item SKU

    This is a critical feature for professional use and should be implemented.

  15. The new layout is creating major problems:

    Inventory Columns Not Saving
    Every time we log in or out, all the selected inventory table columns reset. There is no way to save the selection, which wastes time and is extremely frustrating. This should be a simple and essential fix that must be addressed ASAP.

    Search Function Not Reliable
    The new search function often produces false or inconsistent results, even with a UPC code. Scanning the same UPC can bring up 10 results the first time, then 6 the next, and it can take 3–4 attempts just to get the correct one.

  17. There should be multiple options for the time blocks for services that aren't 15, 30, or 60 minutes. such as 20 minutes. Our business can't operate and our customers are becoming very unhappy because the wait times are increasing since our stylists are used to 20 minutes. We deal with kids and they are very unpredictable so those 5 minutes make a real big deal.

  18. since the new program I purchased we have not had one order through clover. customers are required to sign in with email phone number. let the know if they have the app they don't have to do all of that. that just may help. that's ridiculous/

  19. It would help manage the business if instead of (or in addition to) a "Business Name" field you could add and name a field. Not all customers belong to a business, however we need to collect critical information like "player name", "student name", "child's name" etc

  20. Ran across a dental office cold calling a week or so ago. Mentioned I was just setting up a new Clover account at a Barber shop around the corner, along with his new booking website to draw in more business. They said they NEED a basic SEO website to expand their online presence so they can be found amongst others within the community. They are about to look for someone to build it.
