Welcome to the Clover Services Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Services merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Services space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Retail Categories.

Appointments: Ideas related to Clover’s Appointment software.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.
Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  1. I have a client that has auto settlement set at 6:16pm PST in FDPOS. The Closeout screen in the dashboard is showing 5:30pm closeout so when they run a sale after 5:30pm, the totals in the dashboard don't match his deposits. Please sync the closeout time in the dashboard "closeout" screen with the auto settlement time in FDPOS. Or allow merchant to adjust the closeout reporting time manually in the dashboard. If the Closeout screen can't be fixed, you might think about removing the Closeout screen completely since it's causing more confusion to merchants than anything else.

  2. Regularly I pull a Sales Report with a Custom Date Range. Your website requires that I type in the full dates. It would be appreciated, speed things up, and increase my confidence if you had a calendar pop-up/drop-down in which I could select the dates. It feels archaic to have to type in the dates and a calendar pop-up option is a common feature elsewhere. Annoys me every time. The option to either, type in the dates or select from a calendar would be ideal.

  3. Clover is logging me out after 15 minutes on the desktop. I am repeatedly logging back in throughout the day. Can you please give us a setting that allows us to stay logged in for an hour like it was previously? I'm in the back office trying to work. I don't have a security issue with being logged in.

  4. Invoice Number/Customizable Fields for Hosted Payment Page and Invoice payment – This would allow merchants to create a required field for invoice numbers to be submitted with payment information.

  5. There should be an option to check-in your clients so you know who is here and who isn't here. It makes it much harder to not see who is here and you just have to assume that your client got here on time when that might not be the case. Also it would be nice if the clients can check in on the client device but either way would be helpful.

  6. I have a seasonal merchant that rents 80+ Clover devices for their annual event. They need a report that lists credit/debit sales by device so that they can separate sales by revenue centers. The Cash Log report shows the device name.

  7. Employees need to be able to accept their own appointments and manage appointments just as the owner. As a Salon each stylist is in charge of their own schedule to so being able to accept these apts on their own is important. They also need to all be able to access the schedule from their phones.

  8. I have a lot of merchants that would love the ability to customize invoices from the dashboard. not only with items and/or services but with disclaimers and notes. It would be good to have a better invoicing system that is as good as or better then our competitors(stripe....etc)

  9. Please allow the manual closeout of the current batch on the Clover dashboard. Right now manual closeout is only available on your Clover POS terminal. However, if we are away from the business and need to do a manual closeout remotely, we would need this option available on Clover dashboard. Please add a button under Clover dashboard > Finances > Closeout > View Current Batch. A manual option on dashboard would help greatly. Thanks.

  10. There should be a filter for reporting that allows you to choose transaction type. As of now, we can only print a report that separates the debit and credit card transactions. The end of day batch emails only contain card transactions, but there is no report that can mimic this information. My intent is to isolate the cash from the card transactions.

  11. I am writing to express our concern regarding a recent change in the Clover dashboard. Previously, the cellular data portal displayed the device names alongside the serial numbers and SIM numbers, which was incredibly useful for our operations. However, in the latest version of the dashboard, this feature appears to have been removed.
    we use to see the device names in the clover flex terminals also which was so handy they have also removed it

    We manage a fleet of 65 Clover devices, and without the device names, it has become significantly more difficult and time-consuming to identify and manage…

  12. About 6 months ago, Clover's Customer list on the dashboard and the Customer app on the device sorted customers by most recently added. I relied on sorting the customer list by recent for my business functions. Now it only sorts customers by alphabetical order. It's a small change, but it has greatly impacted my business.

    I think it would be great for everyone if we could sort the customer list by criteria, such as:

    • *Recently added to the customer list* (important)
    • Recently paid/ordered
    • Phone number (starting digits from low to high or vice versa)
    • Alphabetical

  14. I have multiple users on my clover account - and the two factor code to authorize them to go on our account - only comes to my phone. Can you consider adding additional phone numbers to my profile so we all would get the code to our phones? If I'm out of the country or asleep or unreachable - this is not working for us. I would love to add all my colleagues to the account profile to avoid this. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

  16. Enhancement to "Create a branded website" tab/process.
    Services Growth Tier has ability to take payment/deposit online. First time merchant (who is used to card present instore) may not be familiar aware of option to take payment online as part of appointment process. That option for setup is under the primary view settings -> Services and Appointments section for Appointment Booking. I think there would be a benefit to have reference and link to the Appointment Booking section from the Create Branded Website page. I think having reference to Fraud Filters/Fraud Setup there would be beneficial as well.

  17. When using the invoice feature, you can enter the order/invoice number for the payment. However, this information is not available when looking at the transaction in the payment details section like it does when you process the payment yourself in the virtual terminal. Please make the order/invoice number available in the payment details section when the payment is made with the invoice feature.

  19. Why is there no direct link to the developer page within the main dashboard of your account. It makes absolutely no sense to have to make yet another login to get into the developers area. This way anything you develop is linked back to your account.
