Tax Exemption Rules for Food and Beverages in Canada
Tax Exemption rules at the terminal. We are unable to achieve tax compliance using the Clover device. In Canada for food and beverage there are tax exemption rules that need to automatically be applied.
We are a bakery and we offer freshly baked goods. If a customer buys 1 item, full tax rules will apply. If a customer purchases 6 or more baked goods, the baked goods become tax exempt and do not collect taxes. But if there is a non-baked good item in the cart, such as a drink taxes will be fully applied to the drink item only.

Make the special instructions to print in red
An option to print the special instructions on the top of the receipts/order tickets in red that print on the kitchen (order) printers. Just like how the modifiers print in red.

PAID OUT Button that allows the ability to track pulling cash out of drawer and accounting for it
Most all retailers, C stores and restaurants need the ability to take cash out of the drawer to pay vendors or send an employee out to purchase supplies and this button needs to be function as a negative button accounting and reducing the amount of cash in a drawer.

Allow the option to print multiple copies of orders via the Register App
When we print a takeaway order via the Register App, we need the option to print 2 copies of the order as the drinks and food are handled by separate areas of the kitchen.

Order receipt format options don't work with Star 700 kitchen printer
Order receipts printed on a Star 700 kitchen printer do not follow the formatting options that are selected in order receipt setup. For example, when using a medium or small font, the printed dotted lines always print regardless if this option is selected or not in the setup. Grouping items also is inconsistent based on the font size selected. The order receipt preview does reflect the selected options, but the printer doesn't. Why doesn’t my close out show how much deletions have taken place for the day
How come there is no deletion tap to show how much in items were deleted before the sales transactions takes place, in theory someone walks in orders leave his cash on the table and walks out the employee goes back in and delete all the items except for one pocketing the rest of the money. Charging for one item and putting in the register money just for the one item. This can only be done on cash transactions, the credit card transactions are accounted for,

Invoicing from Clover Go App
Having to wait to invoice a customer until I'm at a desktop is not only inconvenient but completely redundant to why I purchased the Clover Go in the first place. This is not mobility and is not simple. Fully regretting leaving square. .03% is not enough of a savings to make this inconvenience "worth it".

Need more Deciamal for weight
I just bought clover system and it missing a very very basic option. We sell some items by weight in Lbs. But the weight in POS is only 1 decimal and we can not manual punch in less than 1, 2, 3 lbs. Like some time the way of an item is not round figure like 1.2 or 2.4 lb. So we are stuck with that.

Font change
A small business owner requested that the Font Size be able to be modified. When asked why, I was informed that in the evening the restaurant turns the lights lower. This makes being able to read the text harder. It would be easier if it was scalable.

Bring back the Merchant Keypad or make a customer facing PIN pad for the Mini.
A couple years ago Clover offered a merchant keypad to connect to the Mini to have it stay customer facing and allow employees to type the $ amount on the little keypad. Merchants loved that set up. For some reason you got rid of it. Merchants dont like having to turn the device around or buy a whole other mini. That would be great to bring that back or make a PIN pad that can always stay customer facing like the FD35 or RP10.

Clover Go address feature
Hi Clover team - this is Mark with Fiserv. The Clover Go G1 and G2 mobile apps should have a section to enter in address information. Especially when merchants are keying in transactions in the app, address verification is very important to avoid risks of disputes and chargebacks. Is this a feature that is coming?
