Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Devices and Hardware. Please share your ideas for how we can update our hardware to improve merchant and customer experiences at the point of sale. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Clover GO v. 4.2 doesn't move/change orientation with that of the merchant's device. Would be nice to have an option to lock/choose Portrait/Landscape orientation or an "Auto" orientation which would then change with the position/orientation of the merchant's device.

  2. It would be extremely helpful if the cash drawer would open for a debit sale. It will open on a credit card sale, but not debit and that is very frustrating.

    You can not add "DEBIT" as a new tender and have the cash drawer open either because that tender will not bring up the screen to pay via a debit card.

    Please please add this simple and easy option or make it universal that any "CHARGE" option payment opens the cash drawer instead of only having a credit card option able to open the cash drawer.

  3. make the default note bigger to include so we can include our warranty on every receipt to customers

  4. Alarm for COO orders needs to be louder and more persistent coming from the Clover device as employees are not hearing the order coming thru

  5. It would be great to be able to customise the keyboard settings to enable the user to include a separate number row at the top of the keyboard rather than having to hard press the top row of the keyboard to access numbers. This would be similar to other android devices.

  6. Provide a running TOTAL sales for open orders on ORDERS app. Owner has to manually add up sales on open orders in order to see accurate sales reporting by hour, not just paid/closed out orders.

  8. The merchant would like the out of paper/print failure notification to be made more noticeable and intrusive as the current notification is too subtle and they do not notice it right away.

  9. Merchant would like to edit tips from clover device and not have to print paper receipts to take advantage of gateway tipping

  10. When a merchant has order types enabled (i.e. Dine-in, Delivery & Pick-up) the delivery option/CNP transactions should automatically print a receipt with tip line - when Dine-in and Pick-up are selected (CP Transactions) tipping on the Pin-Pad should be the primary tipping method.

    Working with a QRS Pizza delivery shop on a duo that wants in-person tipping on Pin-Pad and a printed receipt with tip line for delivery orders.

  11. Merchant and sales agents before were able to see the upcoming releases in the dashboard. They would like to have this option back as this will help them identify new training opportunity and new feature they have been expected to be added.

  14. I need to restrict the ability to close or finalize a cash transaction by employee. All cash transaction sale can be finalized by manager or other authorized employee

  16. NY State has arcane sales tax rules. It would be nice if sales tax could be charged to taxable items and not to non-taxable items automatically, depending on which revenue class the item belonged to. All current workarounds are impractical.

  17. There should be an option in the settings to show the modifiers without showing the price of the modifiers on the receipts.

    I don't want my customers to see the prices of the modifiers but only the modifiers and the total cost of the product.

  18. We are a grocery store that also do wholesale business, so we need to making transactions on Clover dashboard for better navigation.
    Clover is not yet built to fit larger grocery business needs.
    Hope to see a better Clover to fit our business.

  19. Allowing the merchant to turn off the customer facing small screen on the P550 receipt printer or allowing them to display their logo at all times even when items are being added or not to show transaction items being listed. Merchants have requested this ability to customize this screen more.

  20. Is it something that can be looked into being done? As of right now, it all looks like it's in-house sales, which is working, but we have some special events, different on-site locations, and to-go that can order off our regular menu, and we are looking to see what those sales do in conjunction with what the main restaurant is doing. For example, a report that would show the sales for a specific night. So we can see the breakdown per night that 50% was deck sales 25% To Go, and 25% was Main Restaurant.
