Inventory UI Needs Polish
The User Interface for the inventory app keeps getting worse and worse. New features are fine, in theory, but when they take preeminence over more useful data fields the process to add items becomes more and more difficult.
Specifically, the newer data fields "Online Name" "Online Description" and "This is an age restricted item" have been place above the essential fields like stock, price, and cost. If they insist on adding more useless data fields to every item, at least they could add them at the bottom of the screen. Or, better yet, make those fields toggleable from the settings.…4 votes -
Cash Drawer Manager (Till Management)
Till Management, or Cash Drawer Management, should be a core product offering. There is a severe lack of reporting and controls in high volume retail environments where cash drawers are reconciled multiple times per day with multiple tenders. The development appears to be available in the Clover Sport product set and should be included in all plan levels.
This would be highly useful at all levels and it is surpassing that it has not been deployed.
Additionally:
1. Assigning cash drawers to users seems logical given that there are 2 drawer ports on the hub.

bring back multi-location dashboard for updating inventory
we are a retail store with 2 locations that sell the same items, and we used to be able to easily update our inventory information for both locations at the same time from one screen, but that option seems to have gone away, and now it takes way too long and is a royal pain in the butt to make changes. And uploading the changes on a spreadsheet just doubles the items instead of overwriting the existing information, so we have to go in and delete the old items. Allow quantity of items sold to be entered as decimals
We sell fuel by the gallon which is usually measured to the tenth of a gallon, IE 10.2 gallons. The Clover only allows us to pick a whole number which doesn't allow us to charge the customer the proper amount without doing a custom item for just the sale price. This doesn't allow the customer to see what fuel quantity they purchased on their receipt. This would also help companies that sell items by weight.

Enable purchasing multiple gift cards for different $$ amounts on a single transaction
Currently, when we have someone come in to the store and they want to buy two gift cards, lets say one gift card for $10 and another for $20, we have to break this out into two separate transactions. May we please upgrade the system to enable this?? Drives us nuts!! TY!

Open Orders
I give in store credit to certain customers, many of the orders are paid weeks after the original order was placed. Unfortunately, the payment is applied on the date it was originally taken and even if it was paid a month later. Affecting our Sales tax Reports creating inconsistencies. Please help us with this issue.

Quickly increase item quantity
Quick quantity selling multiples of an item in Register.
Previously I could click/hold my inventory item button and a screen popped open to enter quantity. Now I have to click my item which adds qty1, then click Review Order, then click/hold item to get to quantity screen to sell multiples of the item.

Inventory item view
The previous versions of viewing items on a mobile device made it easy to see stock quantities. You could also choose how many items per page 25-900. Now when viewing items on a mobile device you can only see 25 items per page and only a portion of the name of each item.
Please change the view back so it is possible to see inventory quantities while scrolling through item names. The only way to see quantities is to select each item and scroll to the bottom. Its very difficult and time consuming to do an order. With over 1000…4 votes -

Provide the ability to change the action taken when a scanned item is not found in inventory
When scanning items for an order, if an item is not found in inventory, I would like a different action rather than a small banner at the bottom of the screen. An acknowledgement by the employee is desired. The employees must be looking at the screen for every item to be sure it is found in inventory or we can miss charging for the item that was not found.

Caller ID Integration for Customer Profiles
I have not heard of this in circulation and would be a unique feature that most point of sales do not offer. Here is the functionality.
When a a customer calls, the system identifies the phone number and matches it to an existing customer profile in the Clover Point of sale. If a match is found the profile is displayed on the clover device, allowing staff to view or edit details, or create new sale or order. If no profile exists, it prompts the creation of a new one using the caller's information/or just phone number.

I would like to access the open orders
I would like to access the open orders report on a monthly, or with a custom built date range in the dashboard, right now its only available in the device and as a owner of business its not possible to have a physical presence before the device to run a report.

Being able to refund $0 transactions for inventory reporting
Being able to refund $0 transactions. We give out 1st-8th place medals and we use Clover to track the inventory on the 200,000+ medals we have. We use this data for Grant Reporting as well. Not being able to simply refund the transaction due to an error, greatly creates a manual task as the only option is to add manually add these back to inventory.

longer cable for Clover Duo for use in grocery stores with checkout lanes
The Clover Duo version 2 is incompatible with usage at grocery stores with belted checkout lanes.
If you picture the set up, as the cashier you have the workstation in front of you, and the customer facing device to your left. With a 1.5M cable, you cannot get to from where the register stand is to where the customer facing payment device on any belted checkout lane.
With the Duo version 1 I found a work around, but the way the cabling is set up for the version 2, you cant jockey the cables around to make it work.
