Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software.   1. Please find a way to limit Clover software updates to outside of business hours. We've heard a number of complaints about updates happening during peak hours that have been negatively impacting business

  2. When placing an order on Clover, it would be helpful to choose ONE item on the order to remove tax from that item only. Our state removes taxes on bread products, when 6 or more are purchased. Clover will only remove taxes from the whole order, not individual items. Please help with implementing removing taxes from single items on the order screen.

  3. It would be extremely helpful if we could define a Start & Stop time for each Day selected when configuring a Daypart.
    If a business is open until 2AM on a Monday, for example, it would be nice to be able to configure a Daypart that extends from 10pm on Monday until 2AM on Tuesday.

    My Bar charges $0.25 cents more for drinks Friday from 7pm - 2am & Saturday 2pm - 2am

  4. Most other POS systems offer a “pay at store” option for online ordering. I have a lot of highschool students who utilize this function and pay cash. I would like to streamline all online orders through clover, but have not switched for this specific reason.

  5. We would like Owner & Admin users to be able to Delete, Hide or Unpublish POS Menus after they have been Published.

    Not being able to clean up past menus that are no longer in use will lead to staff confusion if they need to manually select a Published menu.

    We have a bar that charges $0.25 more for all drinks on Fridays & Saturdays. We duplicated the Default POS Menu & incremented all prices by $0.25 for their Friday & Saturday Daypart menus.

  6. There no way of knowing where the payment came from if we are to investigate for whatever reason. As a merchant, it is very important to be able to locate all transaction processed. The merchant receipt should have all the detailed Information that appears on the customer's receipt, that is, order/table number and item/items sold. Both receipts used to have detailed information before we had to change our equipments because of end of service

  7. In restaurants with bars, generally the server needs to tip out the bar on bar sales. We need to have a breakdown by category or revenue class available on the device. It's too cumbersome to have to go through all of the steps using the dashboard, and many shift supervisors and even managers do not have access to the web dashboard. Additionally, you want to be able to print the report and attach to server check outs to be turned in to owner or accounting or whomever. Please do this ASAP.

  8. I need a negative variable option so I can add Lotto Paid Out and Scratcher Paid Out because using the Pay Out app has too many steps and time consuming. We sell a lot of Lotto and Scratchers and payout winners. It needs to be show up on the register, because we would have to pay the person out first before they can buy more. It would be easier to ring them up at the same time and it would tell us how much they owe or how much they need to pay.

  9. We support a very busy bar that is concerned with preventing theft. They do over 2 million in sales a year, so preventing Bartenders & Servers from deleting an item from an order all together was considered too restrictive. Turning that option on had them ready to take Clover out the next day.

    We currently have "Edit printed items without override" turned off for Servers & Bartenders in an attempt to limit theft. Unfortunately, this prevents the Bartenders from being able to select the + on a previously ordered item when a customer orders a 2nd or 3rd round of…

  10. Can we please add an option in the Order Receipts to have as optional to add the vehicle description for curbside pickup. I know you can add it under notes but notes are used for other information.

  12. Allow restaurants to sort their online menus by Category or Item (including alphabetically) for fast access to turn items on and off depending on availability. Right now, I just see a list of all items available, which makes it difficult to go through the entire list just to turn one or two items off.

  13. Adding the ability to have prefix words to attach to modifiers on one line instead of two separate modifiers printing on two lines. For example, if I need a select no cheese, it prints on two separate lines or I need to make 2 modifiers groups, one for Adds and one for No's. If you had prefix that could determine if the selection gets charged or not it would advance the system in pizza and service bar locations immensely. Such as selecting No would remove the modifier charge and Add would trigger the modifier to be charged.

  15. The ability to send to different bar printers (or not at all) depending on where the item is ordered from, or at specific times. For example on weekend nights, when a secondary bar is open, the drink order could go there for pickup by servers. Or if bartender rings in a drink it doesn't need to print at either bar, and risk being made twice

  16. When printing out employee sales report from the POS system, there’s confusion as to what the additional charges entail. Merchants that are on surcharge program face reconciliation discrepancies when it comes to separating additional charges collected by servers. Additional charges both include gratuity / service fee charge, and surcharge fees.

    For faster and more efficient reporting reconciliation, is there a way that the POS reporting printout receipt can separate surcharge fees from gratuity fees or any other additional charges? As opposed to just lumping both of these fee types under additional charges.

  17. All the major POS/Online Ordering platforms have the ability to handle promo codes or coupon codes for online ordering. It is a highly requested feature. Clover should integrate the discounts app with online orders.

  18. For items that are measured per unit (such as deli meat that is pounds or ounces), there should be a way to track stock according to this unit. At least for basic units like pounds and ounces that delis, cafes, etc often use. So if merchant has 5 lbs of turkey and they sell 1.5 lbs, then stock count would be 3.5 lbs of turkey.

  19. Being able to filter by employee when running the sales overview from a station would be very helpful in environments when you cannot always turn off "view all sales activity" for servers and/or bartenders & do lots of paid outs or paid ins.

    Since the Homebase and Shifts reports do not account for Paid Outs and Paid Ins, it would be nice to be able to use the Sales Overview with more flexibility from the ground level.   20. I just upgraded to Duo from our previous 2018 units. The customer facing screen of the Duo displays a receipt prompt at the end of every transaction, and I want to disable it.
