Transactions- Additional Filter (Card Transaction Type)
When viewing transactions in the dashboard it would be a huge help to have the ability to filter by Card Transaction Type. If we could separate Auth vs Pre-Auth it would allow us to determine how a transaction was processed and ultimately understand the timing of the funding. Sometimes when batches are not matching funding it is because a transaction went faster, typically when merchants are presenting the tip in various ways across different devices (tip on receipt vs tip on tablet.)

Custom Tender to show actual amount of cash accepted in transaction
When merchant uses a custom tender to accept a sale (such as lottery) the amount is accepted as CASH, but does not show the actual amount of cash that was accepted.
This is needed to know how much to give back to the customer as change.- If he uses the tender button it keeps track in the payments report to show him the amount he is accepting for lottery

Item specific inventory numbers and countdown
Instead of having to inventory all items in the closet er pos. I think we would benefit greatly from a countdown of saleable high dollar items and specials.
We currently use orca fo or end of month inventory but an ability to monitor a handful of line items closely would be great.3 votes -
Employee Role
Employees need to be able to have more than one role assigned. Again for accounting purposes. Every Restaurant has employees that work multiple roles. That way when I print out an employees hours to pay them Im able to see the role they clocked in as.

Barcode Label Printing
The new Retail Growth Plan has "Printer Labels" within the Inventory, and it is confusing for retailers that want to print barcode labels. Please update the plan to change the verbiage and/or to enable merchants to print barcodes/labels for retail.

Timeframes for Multiple Online Menus
It would also be nice for menus to have time frames. Lunch is available Tuesday through Thursday 11 - 3 and brunch is available Sat & Sun.

invoice payment notifications
Currently the invoice payment notification only comes to the email owners account. It should be able to come to an email that the owner sets as the email. We have staff that sends out the invoices but the only way they know someone has paid is if the owner tells them they got the notification in their owners email box. This should be able to be set to go wherever the owner wants it, because this is inefficient for the owner otherwise.

A doubles button for booze.
When someone orders a double, I’d like to be able to just double the price of the liquor selected. Since every alcohol has a different price, my only option is to make a unique modifier for every single bottle of booze, instead of just 1 modifier that has a variable price depending on the item being doubled.

Editing business information

i wanted to share my experience so that hopefully you can help me find a solution to this issue i been facing with our account.
Its regarding our business ours and edit information but mainly about the hours.
we have relocated our business address recently and so we also have changed our operating hours , i have tried endless times to edit the hours from manager dashboard under edit business information and it just wouldnt save, i have called support many times and all they helped me with is tell me…2 votesThe plan is to release the ability to do this type of business hours past midnight by September. Keep Order history saved on the device longer than 30 days
Any data older than 30 days is no longer stored on the Clover POS device, forcing users to access a computer for this information. This change impacts business operations by requiring additional equipment that was previously unnecessary, leading to a negative customer experience. I expect this issue to become more significant in the retail environment as we approach the holiday season when returns over 30 days are more common. Additionally, we can no longer search by a customer's last name, nor can we see if they received a discount or used reward points, which affects merchant profit margins.

Kiosk Items and pricing should not be grouped with Online
I purchased 5 different terminals from Clover including a Clover Kiosk station, flex, duo, and minis only to find out that the pricing for the kiosk items are the same as what's displayed online. We charge different prices for online orders using clover integration with uber, door dash as these third party companies charge a huge cut. I do not understand why a kiosk that is processing orders instore have to be categorized with online orders and not with the pos such as the flex. Im trying everyway to work around this issue by not assigning items to categories to…
