Take orders from KDS - register app on KDS
Allow the Register app to be on the KDS so employees can take orders on it. Taking a quick order from KDS screen would greatly enhance our work flow by having our customer to wait less. It wouldn't need to accept the payments, but getting an order in the system so other employees could get started on would be a game changer. Then we could take payment later.

Card type
Submitting a request for the Card Type to be put back on the Employee Overview report within the Reporting App on the device. This is an issue for restaurants!

Be able to exclude tips from employee report.
Merchant would like to remove tips from employee report. Currently they are able to remove it for cash report but not for employees report.

Option to Print "Just" the Batch Report
Prior to last week, I could go to "Closeout" and print batch reports. The Closeout screen also gave options for printing Card Type Totals and Server Totals. As of last week, all of the print buttons automatically print all of the reports. I called customer service and found out that this is a result of a recent update. Updates should be improvements. Updates should not decrease my options.

Can customers select the options more than once?UBER EATS OFFERS THE OPTION TO CUSTOMIZE THE RULES OVER THE CHOICE OF AN EXTRA ITEM, BUT CLOVER DOES NOT.
THIS MEANS THAT MY CLIENTS CANNOT SELECT MORE THAN 1 TIME AN EXTRA. IT ONLY WORKS IF I ENTER EVERYDAY AT EATS MERCHANT AND ACTIVATE THE OPTION OF "How many times can customers select any single option?"

KDS Merchant request-can we turn off the sleep mode. If the KDS goes to sleep they may miss an order popping up.

Fix Clover Mini Gen3 Printing Sound to be smoother and not choppy.
I have a Clover mini Gen2. I upgraded to a Gen3. Now the new Gen3 printer receipt sounds really choppy and seems a little bit slower. I have both machines side by side doing a test print. I even share the sound to the Tech Support Assistant who is online speaker phone to hear both of them do a test print.
The new Clover Mini Gen3 printing is not smooth like the old mini GEN2. The sound is choppy and louder and does NOT print smoothly when it comes out of the thermal printer. Is it really supposed to sound…

Turn Guest Screen
Guest screen should have equipment to be able to pivot / spin so that the customers aren't able to view what the counter is ringing in (for example, when another guest's tab is open).
This wouldn't be necessary if we could instead choose when the guest can view the screen. For example, only view once business hit's "Pay"2 votes -

Have Gross Profit added to inventory screen.
In the inventory screen, it has Price and Cost. There should be a Gross Profit option to see what the mark up is.

Clover Go syncing information from Clover Dining
Merchant is requesting table numbers and section name on the "orders' in the ios app, when selecting the button "Orders" it doesn't show, whether its paid or open the description of clover dining isn't synced. The order ID is not useful for them they would rather have the table number and section.

Epson Printer Capabilities
Currently, the Epson printer connection with the Clover POS does not allow us to limit printing to only to-go orders or online/mobile orders. As a result, labels are being printed unnecessarily, which leads to wasted supplies.
We would love to explore adding this functionality to the integration, as it would help streamline operations and eliminate the need for additional labels going to waste.
Please let us know if this is something that can be supported now or considered for future enhancements.

Allow an Auto Gratuity on Invoices
We are so excited to see that Itemized invoicing & invoice tip suggestions have started to roll out!
Are there plans to make it possible to add an auto gratuity to an invoice before sending?
We work with a merchant that needs the ability to add an auto gratuity line item on some of their catering invoices. They said that some large clients always tip 15% & anticipate that the 15% will be included as a line item on the invoice already. They would like the option to still add a tip before sending, as needed.

Customer Covers By Hour
In the dashboard, have a report that will tell you how many cover counts by hour. There is an existing sales report, but it does not show how many guests were served.

Cloning Permission Settings Roles/Permissions
Many multiple locations are under different legal corps but maybe the same owner or franchisee. Setting up multi location permission settings rather than being able to copy or close them takes a long time for a merchant to setup and delays implementation.

Item Priority on Kitchen Printer
Inventory currently has the ability to have labels and categories when sending it to an assigned kitchen printer. It would be very helpful if we could also give each item a "priority" in which it is printed on the ticket.
If a customer wanted to turn on a feature that allowed them to also give those items a priority would make things much smoother in a kitchen that only has a single kitchen printer.
For example:
Inventory items currently have the ability to be categorized. When assigned to a category, you can also assign a Priority level.

TOGGLE BETWEEN 5/10 TICKET VIEW FROM MAIN SCREEN
The KDS has been a great addition for us. We would love to see a button on the main screen to toggle between the 5 ticket view and the 10 ticket view rather than having to go to the settings and change it there. To be able to just click a button on the main screen to change that would be AMAZING and save time in a fast paced environment like we have.

Being able to edit a clover dining order, after a guest pays
When a server is assisting a table that has multiple guest and one of the guest leaves early and pays their tab, the system prompts for all the remaining guest/table to pay out their order, otherwise the table is locked and no other edits can be done. Can we make an enhancement to where the table can still order, etc?
