online tip option
Currently the tip Name for online ordering is the Merchants name. As you may know legally the owner can not take the tips for themselves. So for the tips left on the online ordering, it should have an option to change the name to the employee or host that is taking care of the In store pickup not the owners name. Please add the option to change the name for online ordering tips.

Order fulfillment
It would be good to add flags to orders that have multiple available settings. Sure, Open and Closed are nice but that doesn't assist someone fulfilling orders keep up with the orders already picked up when all online orders come in paid in full and closed. A separate column for that flag would be good and to make the multiple options be configurable by the merchant would be nice. The ability to then filter based on this status is key. Also, the Orders Screen really would benefit from having a field for searching based on customer name, phone, or email…

Multi device usage
We have a bar with 16 stations; 8 solos,3 minis, and 5 flex. We have a remote printer that fires cocktails to the bar. This is only on the flex devices that are used for table service. The problem is, if a table is opened on the flex, then a station is used to ring a drink, when the flex is used to ring another drink, the drink that was rang on the station(by a bartender, who then makes the drink)fires with the drink just rang on the flex. 86 an ITEM on CLOVER DEVICE
Need the ability to 86 an item quickly in the middle of service. Any employee should be able to do it as the chef yells out "86 the empanadas!!!" this way, online customers wouldn't be able to order empanadas for the day, for example. The 86 should reset the following day or whenever an employee "un86 it" to make it available again.

I thought Clover was going to be able to meet & exceed the previous systems I have used but unfortunately I am finding that this is not the case. Clover needs to up their game!

Register and Clover Dining Apps Consistency
If a restaurant is using Clover Dining and takes a ToGo order through the non-table orders tab, the final disposition is "Fire All" or "Pay". However, if the order is placed through Register, the final disposition is "Save" or "Pay". Some restaurants find this confusing for servers. If a merchant is using Clover Dining, suggest the experience be the same no matter which app is used to place the order with the Clover Dining experience being the default.

Better outage and system degradation reporting
The two outages have caused significant business impact. While outages cannot always be avoided, the most up to date information available should be communicated to all affected by the outage. On 3/11/23 we had an outage that has lasted five hours, yet status.clover.com reports there is "system degradation but all systems are operational". Systems are not operational, and there is very limited information on predicted time to restore system.
There is no official social media communications except for a lot of clover businesses that are telling people to avoid clover.

Provide better instructions for creating items in POS.
When creating an Item under Inventory, I was confused how to resolve this complexity:
I sell protein balls individually and in packs of three. There are two flavors. For analytic purposes, I want to track sales by package size and flavor. I have three options:
- Create a separate item for each combination of attributes (four total).
- Use modifiers for flavor or count.
- Use per unit pricing.
Option 1 is undesirable, because adding a third or fourth variable would result in maintaining a large number of item skus, and require manual work to calculate sales across all variations of a single…

Reopen Cash or Other Tender checks
Clover recently allows employees to refund and reopen a closed check but it only works with cards. This same feature should be allowed with transactions closed with cash or other tender options or if it was split between multiple payment methods. This will eliminate the "unpaid balances" on reporting when you have to refund and re-ring in a check.

Printer labels based on modifier
We need to be able to set up printer labels based on modifiers and not just items. If a restaurant sells an item like fish, chicken, and shrimp, the kitchen needs to get the order based on the modifier chosen. If the item is grilled/blackened, it needs to print to the grill, but if the item is fried, it needs to print to the fryer.

we need a feature that setups up mix and match options for scanned items.
The system will automatically determine how many groups of items there are and will apply the correct deal.
For example if you have two redbull for 5.50 and 3 redbull for 6.50 then if there are 5 red bull in the cart then the system will apply 3 redbull deal and 2 red bull deal for the red bull. Ability to Adjust Delivery Specific Hours
There should be a separate option from online hours. Delivery hours should be different than clover website pickup hours.
