Back Button during manual entry
On the flex device, if a CVV is input incorrectly the entire transaction must be restarted.
Rather than retyping the entire credit card number again it would make sense to have a back button, and the clear button seems to be perfect for this. When the data is cleared from press 1, pressing clear a 2nd time should return you to the previous screen.
Similarly, when a manual entry is declined it would be nice to have the data still in place for a second attempt but with the option to edit the price.

Manual Card Entry Button, needed back but as an Option on Individual Profiles
Bring back the Manual Card Entry button. Otherwise make the button optional so that we can turn it on for staff profiles as desired.
I understand the type of fraud we are avoiding by not having the button customer facing. But it should be optional at the management level. In our location all sales are manual entry so this change has caused several additional steps per transaction and will require some light but unnecessary staff retraining, then will continue to waste time per transaction with new steps every single time.

Thank you for your suggestion, but this request does not align with our current priorities. Our position is that customers must never have the option to type their own card.
If merchants require manual entry on your Flex, you can use the phone sale app. If using the Register app, you can use the Mail/Phone Order button when selecting a payment method.

Ability to reorder tip options during checkout
Would like to have the ability to re-order how the tip options are laid out during the check out process on Station DUOs or Station 2s + mini combos. Would like to move the Skip option to the bottom under all the other tip options.

Statements & Billing
Please add links to pdf files for the invoices in Billing and Statements. As a cloud based company this seems an obvious thing to do, reducing the need for paper based copies if the merchant chooses an opt out to reduce waste.

Allow Cancelation of an Invoice without notifying the customer (for payment received via check or other)
When I receive payment for an invoice that I sent through the virtual terminal in a form other than through Clover (cash, check, etc.) I would like the option to cancel the invoice without sending an automatic email to the customer. What happens currently is I will send an invoice via the virtual terminal, then I receive a check in the mail (for example) for the invoice, I cancel the request for payment I sent through the virtual terminal, and then the client receives an email saying their invoice was canceled. Tip suggestion printed on the bottom of the bill AND Cash Receipts
Print tip suggestion on the bottom of the bill BEFORE payment, AND print tip suggestion on the bottom of Cash Receipts.
Clover only prints tip suggestion for Credit Card payments.

STATION DUO: Please change the tip screen to appear after a transaction is made
Previously on the Station 2018 model the customer would be prompted to select a tip amount after the sale had processed. On the Station DUO the tip prompt screen pops up on the customer facing device after the Merchant clicks "charge on connected device" before the transaction has actually processed. I have had multiple of my merchants complain about this workflow because customers selecting the tip amount and leave because they think they have paid. My merchants have unfortunately lost a couple of sales because of this. They are high volume Coffee shops so they are unable to monitor whether…

Rev Class Data On Employee Report (from Clover device)
Many restaurants have the need for employees to "tip-out" other employees based off of their sales of food and non-alcoholic beverages during their shift. This is fairly common for small & medium size restaurants. For this reason, it would be great to have Sales Totals by Revenue Class print on the Employee report that comes from the Clover device (not the web)... since the employee would need to pull the report themselves and may not have access to a computer. I've had this request from a handful of restaurants.

Keep tab open after partial payment
In the Clover Dining app, allow a partial payment to be applied to a tab and leave the tab open for more orders and have balance paid later.
Use Case:
A group has a tab open. One person from the group has to go and wants to pay either for specific items or a specific amount towards that tab before leaving. The rest of the group is staying and will continue to order drinks and food.
Currently, if a payment is applied, you can no longer add items to a tab.

Generate invoice from an online order
We need to allow customers to use the online ordering and then send them an invoice. If we can't do this with Clover our commercial clients are going to force us to use a different credit card processor and a different system. Why can't Clover add this as a check out option so we can get the order and generate an invoice? Clover can charge a fee for this function since we would have to pay someone else anyway. Do you want business going to Catertrax or some other system? We really need your help for a solution quick!

Penny Rounding for Cash Transactions in Canada
As you may know, Canada has abandoned pennies for all cash transactions.
And pennies will be automatically rounded up for $.03 and more, and rounded down for $.02 or less.
This has been universal among all POS systems and Banks in Canada, and I hope Clover can adapt to this quickly, otherwise it's going to cause reconciliation issues

tipping
It would be really helpful to allow us to make tipping more customizable. Stuff like changing the wording to match our business and adding a function to round up to a dollar amount since we've found that people like that option to not have so much change.
