Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

    this way, allergens could be also displayed on uber eats and doordash direct integration since you are already enhancing the integration

  3. Need the ability to have a Monthly Sales Report that shows the total Daily amount received broken out for Debit/Credit Card Sales; Cash Sales; Checks; and Gift Card Purchases all on one report. Very similar to the current Monthly Sales Report, but instead of all sales totalled together, break the totals out.

  4. Create a report to list when menu items are Manually turned off and not available for sale.

  6. Merchant has a food truck that drives to a different location every day. Currently the ability to change the address is not something that can be done instantly and so merchant is unable to inform his customer of his new location and the location of his foodtruck is not able to be seen by nearby customers on the clover consumer app because the location cannot be updated.

  7. Would be really helpful to have revenue classes, printer labels, and tax settings driven at the category level instead of at the item level. So any item created within a category would automatically inherit the category's label, tax, and associated settings.

For clover online ordering we need to be able to use 'delivery' as a fulfillment method (not a 3rd party, our own delivery) - so that we can deliver to customers seamlessly - Clover USA has this, but Clover Canada does not, Canadian customers simply need access to the programs you already have but made available in our country. If turned on - customers can choose delivery, add an address and pay the fee with their checkout, will print a receipt with a delivery address (even better an address and unique QR code that the driver can scan which opens…

  10. The sales overview report does not display the device name when a device level report is run. Please add that to the printed report and identify All Devices on the report when that option is selected.

  11. I would like to see clover dining on Clover Go app so my wait staff can take the order at the table and send it directly to the kitchen. That would be an excellent upgrade seeing that it already has the clover dining on it but just to see the tables only.

  12. With the majority of orders coming in from online sources, it is difficult to maintain a good grasp of inventory. My restaurant serves alot of stews which cant be quantified by a number of servings. Being able to have a feature that would allow me to put an item(s) "out of stock" that would pull those items off the online channels (website, delivery companies) for a preset period of time, (2hrs, 4hr, 6hrs, next day) then it would reset to allow them to be available after that period, and easily accessible from the device would be extremely helpful.   13. We need the ability to create a Label printer by Order Type. Natively you have to create an Item level label to send to a certain printer. I want the option to do it by order type. Example: I have a specfic to go station with its own kitchen printer. When my server starts the order, they would select To Go for order type, then the items selected would print at that to go printer. On the other hand, if my server selects Dine in order type, I want those items to go to the dine in station printer. If…

  16. We have Order Numbers set to Manual (cashier enters a number/text for each order), and a recent update made it so that cashiers can no longer hit the check on the android keyboard to bypass the order number: they're now forced to enter something on every order. We have a significant number of simple orders (one soda, etc) that don't require an order number and would like the ability to quickly bypass entering an order number restored.

  17. New update, Clover Modifiers are now all seperate. Have to click each modifier group.

    Use to be able to scroll. Now each Transaction takes and extra 30 seconds. Great to know that clover wants me to lose transactions, and money!

  18. Allow the Clover Kiosk to send order receipts to a connected kitchen printer, even when the cash tender type is selected on the Kiosk.

    Part of the value of the Kiosk is streamling ordering. If an order won't even fire until the order is engaged with on another Clover device, than a part of the utility of the Kiosk is lost.

  19. We want to be able to put a custom gratuity amount or custom percentage which will appear under tips and gratuity and not under service charge. This amount will print on the customer receipt under sales tax it will gratuity and dollar amount.

  20. The ability to route items to the kitchen based on order type. For example, a kitchen that wants to send to go /online orders to a specific printer located in the kitchen and dine in orders to a different printer. This is great for restaurants that have a separate kitchen preparing to go and online orders. Right now, the work around is to create duplicate items, Fries (For Here) and Fries (To Go). Although this works, it makes item reporting and menus more confusing.
