Make label printers work like other kitchen printers
Make label printers work like any other kitchen printer. They need to be network printers where print labels are used to fire prints. It should support both types of labels, die cut and linerless. Also, labels should be able to be printed from KDS.

Provide ability in Tables app and Register to schedule orders in the future.
Create functionality to enter future delivery date/time that would work similar to online orders schedule at future time or dates and times. In addition add an interface that shows future orders to facilitate order fulfillment.

Make Customer Name More Prominent on Order Receipts
On Clover order receipts, the employee name is currently bolded, while the customer name is not. This makes it difficult for staff to quickly identify which order belongs to which customer, especially during busy hours or when multiple orders are being prepared at once.
Please update the receipt formatting so that the customer name is bolded or otherwise made more visually prominent than the employee name. This small change would improve order accuracy and efficiency in customer-facing environments.

Discounts that apply to Items and not whole orders
When Applying discounts it discounts the whole ticket. We would like to be able to apply our military discount to just the veterans meal and not the whole ticket. Please and thank you!

Inventory Management w/Recipes
Allow the creation of recipes that allow assignment of inventory items and ingredients that increases/decreases counts upon receipt/use/creation of items, sub-items and ingredients for menu and non-menu items.

Using Customer name instead of ticket numbers
We would like to be able to ask the customer for a name and use that as the ticket number. Instead of just calling out numbers when orders are ready, we would like to call out their name.
The feature to add their name to the ticket currently just auto adds the name on the credit card and it's a little weird. Also we're not trying to take down all their information and add them to the system. We would just like a simple name on each order. Please and Thank you!

Print a transaction report on our handheld machines
My servers need to be able to print a report that will show individual transactions with the gratuity listed also. This will greatly help us identify errors and every processor I have ever used has this function. I can't be the only restaurant that needs this function.

Homebase Shift Report
Need to have access to the setting for the Homebase Shift Report. Kitchen employees don't need to see PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, TIPS, SERVICE CHARGE on the printed shift report only what their shift time was when printing report.

menu board
Numerous clients ask for this functionality and it's becoming more and more of an ask. The ask is for menu boards on TVs/monitors to be connected to the Clover, ideally in real-time. Not only for pricing and product updates but also for current availability of items/modifiers as well. All new QSRs use menu boards...it would be great if we could have some sort of integration. TY

Display order numbers from the dining app
Display order numbers from the Dining app.
Most of restaurants use the Dining app and Kitchen Display. However, when they fire orders from the dining app, it doesn't show up the order numbers on the KDS. It's really uncomfortable. One of tech staffs explained to me if I use "Register" app it would display. Seriously?.. We are not fast-food restaurant, we need table numbers and order numbers.
Please, fix this issue on the next update!0 votesCurrently, due to space constraints on the Kitchen Display System (KDS) ticket header, we are only able to display a single unique identifier for each order. For orders originating from the Dining app, we prioritize showing the table number, while for orders from the Register app, we display the order number. This approach helps the kitchen identify the order's destination - whether it's for dine-in, takeaway, or deliver, within the limited space available.
We understand that having both table number and order number visible would significantly improve clarity and workflow, especially for full-service restaurants like yours. Your feedback is valid, and we recognize the inconvenience this may cause.

Preselect Modifiers
Within a modifier group allow for preselected item(s). Thus if you have a menu item that is standard with a certain type of cheese or dressing they are preselected and only need to be addressed when something other than the standard modifier is requested.
This would simplify the process of modifying standard orders and reduce the number of modifier groups necessary for No's and substitutions.

Online ordering formatting
The description of the items are not the same on the frontend as they are on the backend. In the backend, I enter them in three separate lines. However, they are joined together as a single line on the frontend. Proper formatting needs to be done. This is not an idea or a feature request, but something that should be done.

clover go app - display the order number and type
the merchant request the tables or orders number/type to be displayed on the clover go app under orders the section than having the clover id - the merchant advises it doesn't make sense to have the clover id, its best to have the order number, or the section of the clover dining app that describes what table the customer is sitting on

add and automate services charges to the orders created in clover go app - when there is an emergency that the internet is not available - the merchant is able to charge service charge in the app. service charge needs to be added automatically if their setting is set to automate it on all devices and mobile app

tips withheld for employees
have the option to have tips withheld setting for employees at 3% by law the merchant is not suppose to keep any of the tips earned by the employee, since the merchant is not keeping the tips at all, the employee's get paid off of tips however the merchant is getting hit with the percentage of credit card processing fee's - merchant should have the options to tip withhold a percentage off the tips to offset the credit card processing off of money the merchant does not keep, it's like if the employee is not taking any of the costs…

solo station needs contactless payments
solo station needs to have contactless payments - its inconvenient for the merchant and servers to not use their employee cards or fingerprint without the ability to run cards that are contactless. its forcing them to get a 3 piece equipment where it takes space but also no finger printer read or employee card reader, where servers can memorize the number by a look and have access to the terminal. this has happened with several restaurants
