KDS Font
It would be great to have the option to change the KDS font size larger, for both the item and modifiers. The modifiers are especially hard to read because the font is gray instead of black.

Shift Reports
Most Restaurants and Bars have multiple Shifts throughout the day. Cashiers and bartenders begin their shift with a starting cash (bank) to provide change to their customers. In established restaurants cashiers/bartenders are responsible for all cash transactions, sometimes with and without manager approval. It is a Requirement for their Shift Reports to include starting bank, cash payments, cash payouts and deduction of credit card tips.
Currently Clover Shift Reports (Homebase) only tracks cash payments and credit card tips. That is unacceptable for most hospitality organizations.

employee sales report on Device
Merchant is looking for an Employee Sales Report by employee/category on the Device so that they can tip out properly. It used to be from Shifts App but Employee's need to have access to all of their Sales at the end of their shift so they can calculate shared tips with bartenders and cooks. This needs to be on the device as most employees do not have Dashboard access nor is there a computer handy most of the time.

Improve Subcategory Flow
Right now, when you select a subcategory in Clover, it opens a new screen and removes visibility of the other subcategories. This slows down navigation because users have to go back each time they want to switch.
I'd recommend keeping the subcategory tabs persistent at the top of the screen-so when a user selects something like 'Chicken Entrée, the items update below, but the other tabs like 'Pasta' or 'Seafood' remain visible. Kiosk - Cash orders need OPTION to fire at time of order being placed!
Merchants need the OPTION (in settings) to fire orders to the kitchen from the Clover Kiosk EITHER at the time of the order being placed at the kiosk OR when the customer walks up to the counter. Currently, only the latter is possible, and only works for a portion of merchants, with certain workflows. Please amend/update the Kiosk settings, ASAP so that merchants can both make their own decisions and we can sell more Clover. Thank you.

Add ability to QUICKLY add the first name (or a number) to the order
Pizza slice shop with a line out the door needs this feature ASAP. Front counter staff needs to be able to add a name to the order for the cooks to warm up slices at the front counter and whole pizza cooks to make them in the kitchen. That name needs to be printed on order receipts in Bold. We don't need to waste time trying to lookup customers, don't need to collect their phone number nor email nor save them in the database. We have hundreds of customers. We just to add their first name and have it visible…

Items Sale Report
Because of food cost going up all the time, bakeries, sometimes have a lot of waste at the of the day. We need to be able to run a report that displays date, time, and items sold. That way we could have a better ideas on when to stop baking certain items during weekdays and weekends.

Reporting Permissions Cash Sales

Guest Count Reporting
Clover Dining prompts servers to enter a guest count every time a new table is opened, and this data is confirmed to be collected and stored by Clover. However, this information is completely inaccessible — it does not appear in any dashboard report, CSV export, or REST API response, making it impossible for restaurant operators to track covers served, calculate average check per cover, or use this data in any meaningful way. Ability to 86 items online but leave on in store
When we are beginning to run low on a product, it would be nice to turn off the item online only. A recent update took away the toggle that could disable the item online and now we can only mark it as out of stock across all menus. We'd like to turn off online first since we cannot clearly communicate low stock to online customers.

NO SALE Button for bars
We need a button in the Register app that says NO SALE that a bartender can quickly hit to open cash drawer. I have a merchant that has 7 pool tables 10 dart board machines and is constantly making change -- the way it is now is not ideal with having to enter a reason to open the drawer. The 3-4 clicks is too many for a fast pace bar that has 5 Station Solos.

Color coding menu options
Currently, the colors are assigned automatically and aren't helpful. For example, a Hot drink option button would be HOT and we would choose blue buttons for Cold drinks.
Also, we NEED two order tickets automatically printed. we have to waste too much time pressing more options and pressing print order.

Order Type Highlights
During Extremely busy periods, line cooks and expediterts have a tendency to not pay attention to order type. Sometimes "To-Go" orders get plated and have to be replated in to-go containers.
If order types could be color coded on the KDS displays, it would help distinguish between order types and minimize plating errors.

Happy Hour Fix
Recently the Happy Hour app disabled the feature that prevents the happy hour discount from being continued past normal happy hour times. For instance if someone orders a beer that is discounted a dollar before happy hour is over and the server then reorders the item using the "+" it continues the discount...the server now has to re-ring in the item in order for the item to be at its proper price.
Happy Hour also does not let you disable it on a specific device. For instance if we have a party going on that should not receive the discount…

Restore Item Report options
The Item Sales report used to have functionality to print CATEGOERIES or CATEGORIES WITH ITEMS. This functionality was available when the user clicked the PRINT link and presented with a dialog box and several options including the Categories or with or without Items.
This option was removed this week from the Report and we would like it restored. Our ownership was accustomed to this report and the workarounds are just a lot of extra work.
