Online Ordering Transaction limits
There needs to be a way to limit the amount of menu items a customer can order using the online ordering. We have had many problems with customers using online ordering to order large quantity of menu items that would fall more under catering. It really creates a problem both for the customer that expects there order to be ready at a given time and the staff trying to fulfill the order. Also creates a problem when the customer chooses delivery and for any reason the driver cancels the order and that order gets refunded without notice!

Kitchen display guest
On the KDS when enabling group identical items it should separate the items by guest.
Not grouping the guest because it’s very confusing. And there’s no setting to disable guest from grouping together.
Sort Group items by each guest individually.

No software updates during business hours
Please find a way to limit Clover software updates to outside of business hours. We've heard a number of complaints about updates happening during peak hours that have been negatively impacting business

Inventory tracker mods
1) Be able to submit emails to admins/managers when inventory is below a certain count on an item
2) Allow certain items to Sync together…. For example… my client has 5 bottles of red wine, he stated about 4 glasses equals a bottle. On the menu his servers either sell by glass or sell by bottle. We want the option to be able to input 5 quantity on the bottle items but when you sell that same bottle by the glass in a different category,automatically deduct a portion of his choosing (in this case .25) on the bottle quantity category.

Sales Activity Report Headers
Add the cash rendered amount to the column header in Sales Activity > Transactions report so we can easily identify potential theft or expectations for the till at shift changes. Or offer the ability to customize the headers of the Sales Activity reports like we can with Inventory

Clover Online Ordering website to better show Ordering Type options
It would be clearer to online ordering end-users if the Clover Online Ordering website showed the Order type (in-store pickup, delivery, curbside) listed as radio buttons rather than a drop-down so that end-users can clearly see all of the available options before hitting the checkout button. Currently, they may not realize that delivery or curbside pickup are available unless they know to click the drop down.

Update Employee Name
I would like the ability to update an employee name without having to delete and re-setup. I have an employee who got married and I can't update her name. I have to delete her and set her back up from scratch.

When placing an order on Clover, it would be helpful to choose ONE item on the order to remove tax from that item only. Our state removes taxes on bread products, when 6 or more are purchased. Clover will only remove taxes from the whole order, not individual items. Please help with implementing removing taxes from single items on the order screen.

Column sorting & Column Order
When we’re in the ITEMS list, we can only sort by name. We organize our items by SKU, so it would be nice to have the ability to sort by any column. Additionally, we’d like to be able to rearrange the columns. We prefer the SKU to be the first column for referencing, so it would be great if we could drag the columns to change the order.

Communication with Engineering once a case has been created
Communication with Engineering Team
Once a case has been created, the communication almost completely stops. There needs to be a path to engineering for ISO's and Agents. More often then not the case is closed and is not resolved. If the engineers do not want phone calls, create a portal where the case lives once it is open. Agents can check their tickets and respond accordingly, making the process more seamless while getting the issued resolved in a more timely manner, keeping merchants happy!3 votes -
Tracking Losses & Courtesy Items
Need a option/process to track Courtesy/Spills in Restaurant/Bar environment to account and report for these items, with out it affecting the sales numbers on the reports. Once the order is open & printed to Kitchen/Bar and an event occurs to the order and it is declared a loss/spill or courtesy. The order will remain unpaid and declared a loss/courtesy, it needs to appear on daily report and be tracked weekly/monthly/annually for reporting to government agencies. Specially on liquor.

Remote order
Hello, with the situations with the restaurants, specially with mine, I am always short staffed for the past few months. This means, many customer calls are missed while our staff is serving dine-in customers. So, the idea is to route all the calls to our remote staff who can take all the orders from the customers and place the orders remotely via clover app. This way, if the customer calls are handled, then the staff onsite can take care of the dine-ins. I understand there few prep works and coordination needed, but that's doable than loosing the business itself

Transfer Server on Closed Order
We really need a way to be able to transfer/change the server name on closed orders. This way if a mistake is made and the order is transferred to a manager's name or someone who just helps close out the tab, the business can adjust this when they notice the error and transfer it back to the correct server and have all tip reports adjusted so that this displays correctly.

Business Name on Printed Expo Order Receipts
On the printed Order Receipt/ Expo Receipt, please allow us to modify the header, so that it doesn't just say "Clover Online Shopping Pickup." We attach these receipts to customer orders, so would like to be able to put our brand name (and logo!) on the header.

Pop-up Prompts! For double checking or mistake catching!
We would like if there was a way to have pop-up prompts come up before moving on to certain fields like asking the customer count before food ordering or ringing out! This has become important to us to have because by example the restaurant is all you can, missing inputting the customer number count can greatly affect business, what will happen is that the employee will move onto orders or payments with out filling this out, so maybe only one person of a table of six will be charged! So we want prompts that come up just asking to confirm…

Being Able to Inactivate/Activate Employees that work for us seasonally
We have employees that are seasonal. (they are in college during the fall and spring) but work for us in the summer and on breaks.
We would like the ability to make the employee inactive so that they are not listed when we are trying to do things like
-filter by employee when in transactions
-trying to move a table to another employee
-...To have to delete the employee and then re-add (having to enter all their information again) them when they come back is inefficient and a pain. Whereas, if we were able to just change a field…

Improve Export/Import Item List Data for better integration
Currently, "description" is supposed to already included for export/import but that is not the case. Additionally, pictures is not an option. However, there is much more data that should be included with data transfer, that could be optional by the account owner. Make everything available and optional for export/import - including the current state (at the time of export) of each item.
