Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum.  You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space. 

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea.  Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

1. Menu Management: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover Dining such as Clover’s built-in menu creation feature.

2. Orders: Ideas relating to the process of creating and managing Orders.

3. Items & Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  2. Enable indication/notification from the KDS when the items sent to the kitchen are complete and ready for pickup by the server. This can be an indicate on the order itself and the ability to configure if a server should be notified via text or if a notification can be sent to the device that sent the order to the Kitchen.

  4. I was at the clover summit last week and expressed this idea to xxxxx. He said this was the best forum to get it looked at.

  6. Hello,

    Currently, there is no ability to generate reports or search for transactions by applicable sales tax. For example, in my Finances>Taxes section, there are a number of sales that apparently have No Sales Tax (0%). We cannot identify which those are, we cannot search by sales tax, etc. It would make a lot more sense to have a Report that is broken down by sales tax.

  7. I want the ability to have the Customer Information show up under the Orders Tab like it did once before. This is very important for when we want to see who we are delivering to without needing to always print the Order or Payment Receipt.

I purchased 5 different terminals from Clover including a Clover Kiosk station, flex, duo, and minis only to find out that the pricing for the kiosk items are the same as what's displayed online. We charge different prices for online orders using clover integration with uber, door dash as these third party companies charge a huge cut. I do not understand why a kiosk that is processing orders instore have to be categorized with online orders and not with the pos such as the flex. Im trying everyway to work around this issue by not assigning items to categories to…

  11. Is it possible on the order receipt to have Surcharge information available. With a sit-down restaurant without a handheld device, the order receipt is presented to the customer and then payment is taken. Having the transparency to have the surcharge amount on the receipt to show the total after the surcharge, so the order receipt presented to the customer and the payment receipt when surcharge applies alligns

  13. Enable bulk upload of images on inventory items, instead of one image at a time. Could be very time consuming for Merchants that way.

  14. There is a new update that autoprints when a transaction is declined. In the past in our busy environment we would leave the client with the processor to pay while helping other customers (high volume bar) and we could see that the transaction went thru from across the bar and acknowledge payment. It now prints even when the transaction is declined. Has caused us much grief and lost payments. It should be an option to turn this off especially because it was not a feature before.

  17. On the new clover kiosk, it should be an option to show the items on Kiosk instead of having to select the items to show online and to show on POS, the clover kiosk is at the business, and we would like to show our menu to our customers that are at the business.

  18. We are a brewery that sells many merchandise items, clothing, hats, sweatshirts, glassware etc. Of the items we sell: beers, cans of to-go beer, glassware, signs, growlers etc. we can add an inventory number to the item, which subtracts from the inventory when we sell that item. This works perfectly for our inventory tracking, showing the total number of the items still in inventory after each day.

    For clothing items this system is not helpful or useable as it will show the number of total shirts, not what is needed, the inventory number of each different size of the shirts.…

  19. Order receipt DOTTED LINE format option doesn’t work with Star 700 kitchen printer.
    When using the Large Font along with the dotted lines, the dotted lines wrap to two lines instead of only one.

  20. Needs real running timer showing from the table layout for an efficient operation. There are many AYCE restaurants with time limits, currently Clover Dinning app only indicates tables in red at certain preset time and servers need to click each table to check the actual running time or they need to login to web dashboard to check entire tables timer at once.
