Merchants need to be able to see the cash deposit totals by employee on their POS and not just via the dashboard. Currently, the POS shows cash deposit totals - but not by employee.
The cash deposit totals by employee are visible in the dashboard and so this should be accessible via the POS as well.
This is important for employees and their manager when checking cash deposits at the end of their shifts.

Discounts Availability and Application
Problem: Once created, discounts are only available or must be deleted AND they can be applied to both Order and Item level. They are also often disorganized.
Solution: Make discounts available or unavailable (optional) so we don't have to delete them and allow them to be applicable for Orders or Items only, or both. This way employees cannot accidentally apply BOGO 50% OFF item only discount to an entire order.
Also, please give us the ability to organize discounts alphabetically or as category/groups, also allowing to display in register separately or in categories -- perhaps we can add/delete custom categories…

Partial Payments on open tabs/orders
Partial payment order Management
Ability to running an open tab/order/check after a partial payment is applied. In a bar environment it is common to have a party of guests running a single tab/order. Some guests leave and request to apply a partial payment. Others stay and continue to add items to the existing tab/order. This option is currently not possible in Clover, but available in most competitive pos products.

I need to be able to post just my breakfast items online at breakfast time and the lunch menu at lunch time.

Allow merchants to change default reporting type in the reporting app on the device
Currently the default option is set to condensed reporting, merchant would like an option to have it default to a full report which is not available at the moment.

Please you need to add back service charge to pop up automatically when my employee hit pay on clover system
just opened a new restaurant, but I don’t see the service charge pop up automatically when I hit “Pay.” This feature works correctly in my other three restaurants. I contacted Clover Support, and they told me that the new updates no longer include this feature. Please add this feature back.

Being able to change the background color on the clover screens. I have had many clients ask to change the colors or add a custom background
I have had many clients say they do not like the white background of the clover dinning and retail screens. They would also like to be able to change the color of the categories. so that the full box is a solid color, not just the side.

Inventory updates should occur when an item is fired to the kitchen
Please move move the updating of inventory tracking from the time the bill is paid to when the item is fired to the kitchen. If a restaurant has 5 units and all 5 are fired to the kitchen but not paid for yet a 6th unit could be added to an order even though the item is no longer available to sell

Dayparts on Kiosk
The dayparts for menu visibility on the Clover Station Duo, Clover Solo, Mini, etc. works great, however, the dayparts do not apply to the Kiosk, which seems like a weird oversight. We need the ability for the dayparts to also apply to the Kiosk menu visibility.

Using Customer name instead of ticket numbers
We would like to be able to ask the customer for a name and use that as the ticket number. Instead of just calling out numbers when orders are ready, we would like to call out their name.
The feature to add their name to the ticket currently just auto adds the name on the credit card and it's a little weird. Also we're not trying to take down all their information and add them to the system. We would just like a simple name on each order. Please and Thank you!

Exchange Option
This is more of a complaint/suggestion, not an idea. Our business has the gold plan - Restaurant plan, but we are not a restaurant, although we utilize a lot of the same Clover options included with this plan. We are a ******** bar/tasting room that also sells merchandise. Many times a customer will purchase an item, let's just say it's a shirt, and they come back the next day or next week because it's the wrong size. On the Restaurant plan, you cannot complete an Exchange, only a Refund. So we have to refund the guest's form of payment to…

sms text - for online pick up orders from KDS
A merchant has the QR clover online ordering in a food truck space where there many food trucks parked. The facility has their online clover website in their main website. When their customer is using their clover online ordering platform for pick up the clover KDS doesn't send a sms that the order is ready for pick up and Kiosk works. They would like the clover online ordering website hosted by clover for pick up orders to also be able to send sms text like the Kiosk from Kitchen Display

Print Individual Items to Order Printer
Hello-
I'm working with a Cafe that is requesting a feature to print individual item tickets to the Order Printer. IE: Ring up a Latte & Espresso. Right now they print together to the order printer. They would like the Latte to print one 1 ticket, and the Espresso to print on the next.
For cafes this feature would be instrumental as they would be able to serve the coffees with the matching individual Order ticket, as opposed to the entire order ticket.

Customer Covers By Hour
In the dashboard, have a report that will tell you how many cover counts by hour. There is an existing sales report, but it does not show how many guests were served.

Cloning Permission Settings Roles/Permissions
Many multiple locations are under different legal corps but maybe the same owner or franchisee. Setting up multi location permission settings rather than being able to copy or close them takes a long time for a merchant to setup and delays implementation.

TOGGLE BETWEEN 5/10 TICKET VIEW FROM MAIN SCREEN
The KDS has been a great addition for us. We would love to see a button on the main screen to toggle between the 5 ticket view and the 10 ticket view rather than having to go to the settings and change it there. To be able to just click a button on the main screen to change that would be AMAZING and save time in a fast paced environment like we have.
