Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  1. I need to increase the delivery radius of DoorDash Drive to 30miles is set to 5miles. I live in Texas and everything is spread out

  2. Merchants need the OPTION (in settings) to fire orders to the kitchen from the Clover Kiosk EITHER at the time of the order being placed at the kiosk OR when the customer walks up to the counter. Currently, only the latter is possible, and only works for a portion of merchants, with certain workflows. Please amend/update the Kiosk settings, ASAP so that merchants can both make their own decisions and we can sell more Clover. Thank you.

  3. Pizza slice shop with a line out the door needs this feature ASAP. Front counter staff needs to be able to add a name to the order for the cooks to warm up slices at the front counter and whole pizza cooks to make them in the kitchen. That name needs to be printed on order receipts in Bold. We don't need to waste time trying to lookup customers, don't need to collect their phone number nor email nor save them in the database. We have hundreds of customers. We just to add their first name and have it visible…

  5. Dayparts is currently applicable to "In Store (POS devices)" only. Make Dapyparts applicable to Online Ordering and 3rd Party Ordering (Doordash, GH, UE etc).

    This will enable to have menus available at specific day/time for online ordering too, in line with the In Store (POS devices) that's available currently.

  6. Because of food cost going up all the time, bakeries, sometimes have a lot of waste at the of the day. We need to be able to run a report that displays date, time, and items sold. That way we could have a better ideas on when to stop baking certain items during weekdays and weekends.

  8. The dayparts for menu visibility on the Clover Station Duo, Clover Solo, Mini, etc. works great, however, the dayparts do not apply to the Kiosk, which seems like a weird oversight. We need the ability for the dayparts to also apply to the Kiosk menu visibility.

  9. Add Permissions to Reporting to allow employee role to view All Cash Sales, not just their cash sales, only. We don't want them to view the entire sales report; however, they need to be able to view all cash sales to balance the drawer

  10. Add a Permission Level for Online Ordering. We would like employees to be able to toggle on and off online ordering on device without the need for a manager passcode

  11. Clover Dining prompts servers to enter a guest count every time a new table is opened, and this data is confirmed to be collected and stored by Clover. However, this information is completely inaccessible — it does not appear in any dashboard report, CSV export, or REST API response, making it impossible for restaurant operators to track covers served, calculate average check per cover, or use this data in any meaningful way.   12. When we are beginning to run low on a product, it would be nice to turn off the item online only. A recent update took away the toggle that could disable the item online and now we can only mark it as out of stock across all menus. We'd like to turn off online first since we cannot clearly communicate low stock to online customers.

  13. We need a button in the Register app that says NO SALE that a bartender can quickly hit to open cash drawer. I have a merchant that has 7 pool tables 10 dart board machines and is constantly making change -- the way it is now is not ideal with having to enter a reason to open the drawer. The 3-4 clicks is too many for a fast pace bar that has 5 Station Solos.

    Hello! Thank you for your feedback. We are planning some updates to cash drawer workflow and will take your feedback into consideration. Bars are high pressure environments and understand the need to be able to do key actions faster. Thanks again!

    Can we create a Happy Hour concept that can go on Clover online ordering?
    For example, Taco Tuesday would go live and online all day Tuesday from open to close.
    Or for instance, 50% off menu from 3:00 - 5:00 every Thursday.

  15. Recently Clover released the feature that allows merchant to reopen completed table orders. This feature has been a great addition however merchants are only able to reopen orders if the payment was made with card.

    If the payment was made with Cash or Other Tender options then the order cannot be reopened. It can only be refunded. This does cause issues because sometimes merchants incorrectly mark the payment as cash or makes a mistake during split payments.

    The reopen feature works great with card payments but we need the merchant to have the ability reopen the order and reassign it…

  16. The printer setup needs a setting to be able to have each Item print out separately instead of having them all print on one bill and adding a line below each print. There is an APP name smart print that allows you to do that on the clover app Market but that APP has way too many bugs.

  17. Can we please get a repeat button in the clover dining app? I don't want to give every employee the ability to delete printed items so that they can repeat a drink order without having to search for the drinks again. We can have a table full of drinks that need to be repeated and it takes time to have to enter them one by one

  18. For a restaurant inside a hotel the merchant setup a custom tender to charge meals to the hotel room. However, they cannot add a tip to this tender. It would be really great to be able to allow tipping on custom tenders.

  19. Create functionality to enter future delivery date/time that would work similar to online orders schedule at future time or dates and times. In addition add an interface that shows future orders to facilitate order fulfillment.

  20. Instead of only having the option to look at reporting as sub categories, we would like to be able to see the Head categories on the reports and have submenus for subcategories. When i called into clover for reporting issues this was not an option for them to assist with.
