Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc.

Menu: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover’s menu creation feature.

  1. Please allow employees to use the quick reorder button (plus button) to re-ring printed items such as drinks and cocktails while not being able to void items. The current setting called “edit printed items without override” does not allow you to quickly re-ring items without giving access to void items. The option is there for “delete an item from an order” but the server needs this capability turned on. The void and plus button need to be separated as settings for printed items. This is a big deal for a high volume restaurant.

  3. Enable printing the dining table name on the credit card payment receipt's merchant copy. This is helpful to the merchant as their servers share tips with the chefs at tables from certain dining rooms. This feature was available in the previous version, but is no longer available after replacing the Clover Station.

  4. NEED Tips at end of day to decipher between tips for food and regular beverages and tips for bar orders..

    So servers can tip bar on bar items handled "WITHOUT" giving bar tips on "Entire" food order ( food they serve should not be portion of tip that goes to bartender)

    NEED simpler way at the end of the day to see breakout by employee for bar tip versus food tip portion for total tips

    Ie;
    Days orders came to $1,000

    $200 of order was bar

    $800 of order was food and beverage

    Tip is 20% of the total ticket

  5. The first screen on the Clover Kiosk is "all items" and they are arranged alphabetically. This is confusing if you have several categories. Can the "all items" home screen still be organized by category? Or omit the "all items" screen and only show each category on the left hand side and have the first category be the first items that show up on the Clover Kiosk?

  6. Allow prices (VIA modifier) to be increased by a percentage vs flat dollar amount. For example, double liquor drink orders, etc.

  7. We have set up the DoorDash Drive Clover integration, and it works fine. But, the only tip option on the order checkout screen from the customer view is "Tips For Delivery Person". Tips go to the Dasher. The in-store employees who prepare and package the orders are not receiving any tips. Clover support was unable to assist with this.

    Is there a way to add another tip option for customers to give our employees a tip on their order?

  8. Ability to select a modifier multiple times on the Clover Kiosk like you can do on the Clover Station Duo.

    This is relevant for QSR locations like coffee shops, bubble tea and dessert locations where a modifier can be selected up to 5x times. There can also be 30+ modifiers in these types of QSR locations.
