There are a lot of ways to take a payment. Provide your ideas to help advance Clover’s payments acceptance process here. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Virtual Terminal: Provide all feedback on the Virtual Terminal in this category. How can we make this solution more useful for merchants?

2. Refunds/Exchanges: If you have any feedback on Clover’s refund or exchange functions please let us know here.

3. Recurring Payments: Share your thoughts on accepting recurring payments here. Tell us how we can improve.

  4. We would like for the virtual terminal on the dashboard to have the filter of a device on the reporting app for it to be able to have the name changed under devices

  5. merchants are complaining that now everytime they process a mastercard on their clover mini or flex the mastercard logo comes out on their screen and then a yellow checkmark appears and then a sound to approve the mastercard. this is delaying the process by 10 seconds its so frustrating as they are use to having a transaction get approved in less than 2 seconds, PLEASE REMOVE this new branding animation feature !!!

  7. Merchant, Tina Gaudino of Richardson Koudelka LLP, suggested adding a web link in Virtual Terminal to send customers in lieu of sending invoices.

    The web link would require customer to fill in required information and send back to merchant via email.

  8. Many gateways have ability to create a button or link to a payment page for customers. This is common with doctors offices and a bunch of other service providers. You click the button, and then redirect to a secure Clover hosted page that gives them the ability to pay an invoice.

  9. it would be great if tipping screen to be shown right after cards detected (including swiping, sensing or inserts) and before signature, not after transaction amount is entered.

  10. At this moment, if an employee uses the Register app, the tips go to the person who cash out the transaction. For example, Joe takes a phone order and hit "save" using the Register App. Then, Peter cash out that transaction. The tips goes to Peter instead of Joe. We need to fix this because a full service restaurant has a lot of take out orders. And the servers do not share the tips. Creating tables on Clover Dinning as a workaround won't work when there are lots of take-out orders. Opening Bar & More tab won't work either because…

  11. I had a situation where an employee gave a customer a correct amount cash refund but had trouble completing it on the Device due to getting busy and just forgot about it. She turned in the appropriate paperwork to me in my office. However, when i went to the transaction to refund it the option was not available to issue the refund.

  14. Restaurants should have the right to add gratuity to checks. Your system doesn't have this option. You have a service fee which is included into the restaurant sales. You have suggested gratuity that prints on tickets; servers need a button that will actually add a percentage of the check to the actual check. Please and thanks

  15. When a customer pays with Apple pay, it allows them to enter a tip but does not show the tip in the tips app. It acts as if that transaction has not entered any tip. This is true for all nfc payment methods.

  18. called in about the split payment feature on the Station 2. He said he's able to split the payment into 2 but when he flips the screen it still shows the WHOLE amount even though they confirmed it charged them the correct split amount... customers often callback in thinking they were charged MORE than the split amount which is incorrect.

  19. The clover used to delete transactions on tips app whenever it was a new day and now it could confuse the merchants because all the transactions are there.
