Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

  1. Modifier prices and names are the same as the items listed in Items List. Merchant would like the modifiers and items to be completely independent of item list in online menus.

  2. One for basic menu online ordering and pick up on a day to day basis and one separate and dedicated to ordering online catering orders.

    I would like to keep the two separate for my customers.

  3. Currently you can Group line items for "order receipts" but this does not Group line items when printing to a Kitchen Printer. It comes out like this

  4. Give admin access to devices and printer. Why was it removed? If there are 3 owners to a business, you expect them to share 1 main account with 2-factor logins? Not sure why Clover keeps messing things up.

  5. When using the mobile version of Clover, the screen we use most often is our Sales Overview to review sales for the day. Often this page will compare our daily numbers to numbers yesterday or last week. Now that we've been in business for 1 year, we'd like to see our numbers compared to the same day last year. I was informed by Clover Tech Support that there is no setting to change this, and that you have to use the web browser version of Clover to search this data (which is not convenient).   6. INVENTORY NEEDS TO UPDATE THE SECOND A SERVER ORDERS AN ITEM. SO THAT THE SECOND SERVER BEHIND HIM IMMEDIATELY KNOWS THE REMAINING BALANCE OF THE INVENTORY. INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE BILL TO BE PAID FOR FOR INVENTORY TO UPDATE IN THE SYSTEM.

    RIGHT NOW INVENTORY UPDATES ONLY AFTER THE CUSTOMER PAYS FOR THEIR BILL.

  11. Payment receipts are so long compared to other pos systems. The spacing and font can be changed to help with this so we aren’t killing trees.

  13. The request was to be able to see more than 10 line items for categories on their Station Duo screen. They would like to be able to see all the categories on one screen and choose from them.

  14. For Online Orders- I want to be able to apply "Happy Hour" deals so that I can do a 2 for 1 discount specifically on a category or item. Please allow Happy Hour to reflect in the Online Ordering ( Clover App ) or for third party apps to contribute to quantity discounts/specials.

  15. Add Extra Categories to the main category Ex:
    I have a category called (Coffee Bar) I need to be able to split this category into Cold Coffee and Hot Coffee then inside this categories comes the items and it is important to be this way instead of me have to set the Cold Coffee and the Hot coffee as Items and the coffee flavors as Modifiers because in this way I will loose the capability of adding photos to the coffee flavors on the Kiosk and the capability to specify each coffee flavor with it's own modifiers. or I have…

  16. When someone orders a double, I’d like to be able to just double the price of the liquor selected. Since every alcohol has a different price, my only option is to make a unique modifier for every single bottle of booze, instead of just 1 modifier that has a variable price depending on the item being doubled.

  17. Please Improve haptics vibrations on Flex 4. It is totally different feeling from previous Flex such as gen 2 or gen 3. With Flex 4, you wont feel whether the item has been touched so ending up touching it multiple times.

  18. PLEASE put time clock back on the website dash board under Employees menu!!! It is cumbersome to find and get to. We don’t process payroll from the station at the restaurant we process it from the office. This was an inefficient change since you have to go through so many clicks and wait for so many pages to load just to click through to the time clock app you are using. Especially if you are in a remote area with poor internet service. Thank you!

  19. Online Menu on Google Suppose to be on the top of the online ordering list and it suppose to be named with the restaurant name, because our online list start with Grubhub and seamless and doordash then Order Clover so Order Clover has to be the first then it is better to call it with the restaurant name because a lots of customer does not know what Order clover means and they think it is another ordering company instead of knowing that is our direct online ordering especially that it has our original prices comparing to other online ordering companies…

  20. The merchant would like to withhold tips of 3-4% in the employee sales report . By law tips are 100% transferred to the employee, however now the merchant is paying full credit card processing fee's on tips on monies they do not keep, making this non-compliant, there can be a feature on the dashboard back office, to turn on "Tips witheld" only % displayed that will reduce their cc tips.
