Need a monthly report that shows daily CASH sales totals
As a bookkeeper I have a request for an additional report that shows a monthly report with daily cash sales totals. My restaurant client makes daily bank deposits of the CASH they receive. I need to check if what they deposit matches with the cash sales according to Clover. If they deposited more or less than the actual cash sales then I need to record that in the books as cash over or short. Inventory Numbers on Modifiers
We are a brewery that sells many merchandise items, clothing, hats, sweatshirts, glassware etc. Of the items we sell: beers, cans of to-go beer, glassware, signs, growlers etc. we can add an inventory number to the item, which subtracts from the inventory when we sell that item. This works perfectly for our inventory tracking, showing the total number of the items still in inventory after each day.
For clothing items this system is not helpful or useable as it will show the number of total shirts, not what is needed, the inventory number of each different size of the shirts.…

Adding menu items to online menu from device
We should be able to add menu items to our online menu from the device. We used to be able to do this with the "online" column in the inventory app. Clover has taken the entire column away, making the only way to add an item through the dashboard. This is not convenient.

The Clover App Market is not available on PHYSICAL equipment Clover Kiosk and Clover Compact. In Puerto Rico we need to download the app IVU CONTROL but because the APP MARKET is not enabled, we can not do download.

No opening drawer ringing.
No opening drawer ringing.
This is the only register system I have ever seen (forty plus years in retail) that allows transaction to be rung while the cash drawer is open this is rife with issues. You cant' keep honest people honest if you don't have the single most basic physical base covered.3 votes -

prep times per order & per day
I would like to access prep times per order & per day. We receive at times that food took too long and then we need to access the data. Also to monitor the efficiency of the kitchen.

KDS - Multiple Courses
KDS - Multiple Courses - show all the courses and firing by prep time
Different dishes has different prep time, therefore some 2nd course dishes need to be fired at the same time as 1st course dishes.
Some items are fulfilled quickly and can end up getting cold (or warm) while waiting for service, and other items need more time. It slows service down.

Online ordering
New updates do not make logical sense for restaurants. When managing items day to day, there generally is not time to log in to the dashboard, then go through all the steps (9 I believe), just to take an item off. Additionally most employees do not have access to the web dashboard. This creates issues with items being ordered that the restaurant is out of. It would be great if industry professionals were more involved before making changes that will untimately lose merchants.

Bring back "holding cash sales" option.
You recently discontinued the service plan we signed up for, and replaced it with a plan that removed a very important feature. Our servers would hold their cash sales and print a cash settlement report the end of their shift that automatically deducted their credit card tips from the cash they owed us. This was a very important feature we relied on, and you eliminated it right in the middle of a business day, with no warning. I recommend you reinstate this feature as soon as possible, or I'm sure many businesses will find other services.

Assign categories per employee code
Assign categories per employee code. This would allow categories and inventory items to be assigned and accessible based on their employee code. Currently all employees can see all categories and inventory items and run transactions from any category.
Currently, there is no employee permission access type to assign specific/individual categories and inventory items to a employee role. i.e. Bartender can only see drink category.

Tips | Credit Cards & Debit Cards
Tips received per credit cards and debit cards:
In Ontario, we can deduct the credit card processing fees from the tip payments.
We desperately need the details on the closeout report - Tips received per credit Card(MC, Visa, etc.) and debit card.
The lack of this information cost us $400 per month in processing fees that we cannot recover and do not receive income.2 votes -
Kiosk Items and pricing should not be grouped with Online
I purchased 5 different terminals from Clover including a Clover Kiosk station, flex, duo, and minis only to find out that the pricing for the kiosk items are the same as what's displayed online. We charge different prices for online orders using clover integration with uber, door dash as these third party companies charge a huge cut. I do not understand why a kiosk that is processing orders instore have to be categorized with online orders and not with the pos such as the flex. Its regarding our business ours and edit information but mainly about the hours.

I can't think of a single marketplace on the internet besides Clover that does this.
3 votesUnfortunately, we are limited to the security limitations enacted by the ECOM team (Vlad). I have spoken to Vlad multiple times about having a less intrusive alternative, and they are looking into something called hCaptcha for 2026, but right now, this is what we're stuck with.

on the clover kiosk, is it possible tp remove the word "all items" and direct customers to be on the first category automatically

individual server reports
Servers should only be able to see their own report, have access to only their guest checks, only see sales for current day transactions. This is a security and privacy issue
