Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software.   1. It would be great if the Batch Close report could email to more people than just the defined "Owner". In large organizations you have a finance department that needs this info besides the manager that runs things on the daily. Should be a simple request.

  3. In clover dining app there are no restrictions for employees to remove the automatic Additional Charges from an order. There should be a permission where Only admins are allowed to remove additional service charge or have manager/admin passcode approval to remove additional charges on dine-in sections only. There should be a permission approval.

    Currently there is an Operational Loss when customer is paying cash, the employee gives the bill to the customer, and customer pays in cash, some servers/employees found a loophole to remove the auto gratuity service charge in the Clover Dining app since there are no restrictions in…

  4. When we’re in the ITEMS list, we can only sort by name. We organize our items by SKU, so it would be nice to have the ability to sort by any column. Additionally, we’d like to be able to rearrange the columns. We prefer the SKU to be the first column for referencing, so it would be great if we could drag the columns to change the order.

  5. Time punches can be edited from the web dashboard but the calendar picker does not allow the user to pick the previous day and only allows who hours to be selected. This is not useful to correct time when an employee forgot to clock out the previous day and/or the time is something other than the whole hour.

    Users can click into the field an manually adjust the date and time, but the date picker should either be eliminated or functionality improved.

  6. Add permission to suppress tip reporting. The data is misleading for restaurants that pool tips as the employee doesn't receipt a closeout.

  7. Expend network label printing functionality to the KDS. Make sure the label print includes custom modifiers.

  8. When a printer is deleted as an order printer it will automatically readd itself after the clover goes through a reboot. This is an issue for retail merchants that have no need for an order receipt. Clover Advanced support has informed us that this is not a bug but "a feature" and that this is the way the software is intended to work.
    I fail to see the benefit of the system changing a setting that was intentionally set. Clover needs to revert this as soon as possible.

  11. There Should Be More Online Ordering Options Offered For The Merchants Sake!

    Example:

    My Set Pickup Time Is For 25mins. This time Frame works about 80% of the time but what happens when you get a massive order in that takes up your whole kitchen space and is not able to be ready within 25mins?

    Its already too late to change anything on my settings because the order came through with a pickup time of 25 mins. Now my staff and kitchen are screwed because clover doesn't offer the Merchant any options to either accept the orders or at least…

  12. I am a tech for a CC processing company that uses Clover but also have been a chef for 20 years. In Clover POS I can assign a color to an item, who do I contact to have that same color be reflected on that item for the KDS as well?
    Example - If I made all salad items blue when a line cook sees the color blue they know it’s a salad.

  13. Clover has added great functionality to show pickup time for future orders on the orders screen. Open up this access to the public API so 3rd party order services can set pickup times that display on Clover.

    3rd party services are still required because Clover's tools have limited functionality such as immediately firing to kitchen printers for future orders.

  14. It was great to add Label Printers as networked printers, but the printers aren't available on Flex and Flex Pocket. Please add as we continue to have to use 3rd party apps for label printing.

  15. Labels don't print custom modifiers of online orders as well as orders placed on Clover devices, which renders the label printing useless. Any orders with custom modifiers will not be prepared correctly. It was great to get label printers networked, but this is the next limiting factor to broad usage.

  17. Need to have a report that generates the number of guests each day related directly to each order. This helps with reporting on how much each guest is spending in my taproom.

  18. The primary Multi-Location user needs full grouping and group editing capabilities. For example, 17 open MIDs under one ISO with 3 MIDs in New York, 13 MIDs in Miami and 1 MID in Orlando. The user only sees 1 group titled by the MID of the HQ account with the chain code.
    so rather than
    x1234 (17) >
    the user can edit
    (no HQ or other non-processing accounts)
    (no closed accounts)
    (no accounts from non A1 Payment Processing)
    A1 Payment Processing (17) > (changes override all changes)

  19. Ability to create a Discount Code for On-Line ordering. For example you have a promotion on social media where people get a 10% Discount on Wednesday with the Code WED10 that they would input while ordering online.

  20. In restaurants with bars, generally the server needs to tip out the bar on bar sales. We need to have a breakdown by category or revenue class available on the device. It's too cumbersome to have to go through all of the steps using the dashboard, and many shift supervisors and even managers do not have access to the web dashboard. Additionally, you want to be able to print the report and attach to server check outs to be turned in to owner or accounting or whomever. Please do this ASAP.
