Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc.

  1. Subcategory

    Need unlimited amount of Subcategories. And also would like to be able to set up Items in the correct Subcategories on Terminals not only dashboard.

    Templet spreadsheet does import subcategories in correctly when you export and re-import that same report. It puts all Subcategories in Category.
    Needs to add a Subcategory Column on the Items tab.

  3. WHY did Clover REMOVE ability for Merchants to have DELIVERY OPTION in CLOVER ONLINE and WHY is DOORDASH the ONLY OPTION...DUMB!!

    CLOVER NEEDS to STOP REMOVING and CHANGING things without CONSIDERING END USER "NEEDS" - Such as ONLINE DELIVERY

    Clover needs to STOP making HOMEBASE the Timeclock Option - TERRIBLE Customer Support, FREEZES and keeps people from being to sign in - Disrespects value of time and makes terrible experience for Businesses

    WHY did Clover REMOVE "set up" option for Merchants to use their OWN DELIVERY and set parameters and Delivery Fee in the Dashboard for ONLINE Orders via Clover APP and Google Search???

    WHY are Merchants NOW "ONLY" given option for DELIVERY in Dashboard ..."VIA DOORDASH, etc...???!!!""

  17. Add a column for "Color" on inventory export CSV

    Currently if you export a merchant inventory from Clover, the spreadsheet does not include the Colors for each Category or Item

  18. Simplify Customers app

    When searching for a customer by phone number and they are not found in the system, Clover should automatically carry that phone number
    over to the Add Customer screen. This would eliminate the need for the merchant to manually re enter or copy and paste the number

    This can help define backup printers (e.g., in case the Kitchen Printer breaks or goes offline it can send it to the Bar Printer or
