Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

  3. I have a huge problem with the clover kiosk. There are 2 payment options, Credit Card and Cash, but if you select the Cash option you have to wait for the Duo Station. Customers complain because their orders are delayed. Solution: After selecting the Cash option, the order must be printed on the order printer so as not to lose your place in the order queue.

  4. We have restaurant (Dine in) and a bakery section (Register). We would like to have the tips, sales and avg. bill per table (Dine-In) separate from the (Register/Bakery

  5. Kitchen display Unit:

    The KDS generate data such as processing time and average processing time. We would like to access this data in a report. It will help us to manage the efficiency of the kitchen and complaints

  6. Tips received per credit cards and debit cards:

    In Ontario, we can deduct the credit card processing fees from the tip payments.
    We desperately need the details on the closeout report - Tips received per credit Card(MC, Visa, etc.) and debit card.
    The lack of this information cost us $400 per month in processing fees that we cannot recover and do not receive income.

  8. Posting 2 ideas that are needed
    1. I offer rolls, where each roll is $8. However if a patron purchases 2 rolls, i want to offer it for $15. The rolls (or any menu item), needs to have a combiner option to push through deals that pushes sales higher
    2. The menu also offers meals, which is a roll, fries and a drink (coke, sprite etc) for $12, i want to able to offer a customer to replace this drink with a milkshare for an additional $2, to get the total to $14. Again an upcharge oppurtunity to push sales…

  9. Please fix Clover dinning app FIRE ALL glitch.

    When pressing “Fire All” screen returns to table layout as the order has been printed/ sent to the kitchen printer. But when go back to the table it is not marked as “printed”

    The screen should remain in such order screen if “Fire All” did not go thru.

    Tried below but did NOT resolve the issue.

  10. We want the ability to have the (Clover Dining) Table QR Codes to point to different menus. The use case is that when people are dining in we want to allow them to order pastries like croissants. However, if they order online via direct link to the clover menu, or 3rd party, they should not be able to order pastries. Another example would be alcohol, can't have people ordering that online, because they must be in-person to check ID.

    Perhaps there could be a separate Menu Channel for each table in Clover Dining. Or at least a separate Menu Channel…

Customer wants their order receipts in their Clover Kiosk to show "PAY AT REGISTER" and "PLEASE TAKE THIS TICKET TO REGISTER AND COMPLETE PAYMENT" in Spanish since the merchant is located in Puerto Rico where the initial language is Spanish. It is creating problems for him since not all consumers know English and are disgusted with him because of the long wait. We need the merchant to be able to count on a system that does not create issues.

  12. Fast service is vital to a restaurant. Would like a report that tracks restaurant performance metric "Time per order". Would like to see it by hour, by day, trends over time.

I purchased 5 different terminals from Clover including a Clover Kiosk station, flex, duo, and minis only to find out that the pricing for the kiosk items are the same as what's displayed online. We charge different prices for online orders using clover integration with uber, door dash as these third party companies charge a huge cut. I do not understand why a kiosk that is processing orders instore have to be categorized with online orders and not with the pos such as the flex. Im trying everyway to work around this issue by not assigning items to categories to…

  14. Need ability to "Edit Menu Prices" for selected items not just the entire menu. We have a menu that is marked up by 30%. When I add a new menu item, it is not marked up and there is no way to do it, other than duplicating the item. Now you have 2 items to manage for 1 item. Ideally would like the "Edit Menu Prices" feature to be applied to only the selected items.

    Thanks for reaching out to Clover. We acknowledge your need and will review it. In the mean time, you may want to try this work around. When you add a new item into the menu (that already had a price adjustment), you can change the item price of only that item within the menu so that it is in par with your menu mark up price.

  15. We are a brewery that sells many merchandise items, clothing, hats, sweatshirts, glassware etc. Of the items we sell: beers, cans of to-go beer, glassware, signs, growlers etc. we can add an inventory number to the item, which subtracts from the inventory when we sell that item. This works perfectly for our inventory tracking, showing the total number of the items still in inventory after each day.

    For clothing items this system is not helpful or useable as it will show the number of total shirts, not what is needed, the inventory number of each different size of the shirts.…

  16. We should be able to copy/multiply modifier groups so that we don't have to create almost the same modifier groups for different items. It would save a lot of time!

  17. We should be able to add menu items to our online menu from the device. We used to be able to do this with the "online" column in the inventory app. Clover has taken the entire column away, making the only way to add an item through the dashboard. This is not convenient.

  18. ENABLE CLOVER APP MARKET ON CLOVER KIOSK / CLOVER COMPACT.

    The Clover App Market is not available on PHYSICAL equipment Clover Kiosk and Clover Compact. In Puerto Rico we need to download the app IVU CONTROL but because the APP MARKET is not enabled, we can not do download.

  19. We need a way to close a drawer during a shift that only batches the drawer we are closing!

    For instance, I have two pos Stations with the same MID #. If I count down or close one drawer to start a new shift, and batch it so someone else can use it, It also batches the other drawer at the same time. There is no way to separate one drawer from the other.

  20. third party online sales and sales taxes should be excluded on the report, or reported separately because they pay the taxes, so i get the clear picture of taxes owed to state, county and city, right now its included in the total sales.
