Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

  1. Clover.com > Reports > Item sales

    Along the top of this screen there are six (6) filter boxes. The rightmost box is 'Categories.' Clicking on this box reveals a drop-down menu where you can select/unselect categories to be displayed.

    It used to be that you could click this box, and it would stay open to allow you to unselect multiple categories until you were done, then click outside the menu and it would apply your filter. Now, each time you click once ANYWHERE in this drop-down menu, the menu disappears, and you have to re-open it again.

  2. I would love for kiosk orders to be printed automatically, just like Clover and DoorDash orders, so we don’t have to do it manually. I’d like them to continue going to the kitchen monitor, but also be printed on pape

  3. It would be great to have the option to change the KDS font size larger, for both the item and modifiers. The modifiers are especially hard to read because the font is gray instead of black.

  5. In the dashboard, have a report that will tell you how many cover counts by hour. There is an existing sales report, but it does not show how many guests were served.

  6. Inventory currently has the ability to have labels and categories when sending it to an assigned kitchen printer. It would be very helpful if we could also give each item a "priority" in which it is printed on the ticket.

    If a customer wanted to turn on a feature that allowed them to also give those items a priority would make things much smoother in a kitchen that only has a single kitchen printer.

    For example:

    Inventory items currently have the ability to be categorized. When assigned to a category, you can also assign a Priority level.

  7. Right now, when you select a subcategory in Clover, it opens a new screen and removes visibility of the other subcategories. This slows down navigation because users have to go back each time they want to switch.
    I'd recommend keeping the subcategory tabs persistent at the top of the screen-so when a user selects something like 'Chicken Entrée, the items update below, but the other tabs like 'Pasta' or 'Seafood' remain visible. That way, users can quickly switch between subcategories without losing their place or adding extra taps

  8. I need to increase the delivery radius of DoorDash Drive to 30miles is set to 5miles. I live in Texas and everything is spread out

  9. Merchants need the OPTION (in settings) to fire orders to the kitchen from the Clover Kiosk EITHER at the time of the order being placed at the kiosk OR when the customer walks up to the counter. Currently, only the latter is possible, and only works for a portion of merchants, with certain workflows. Please amend/update the Kiosk settings, ASAP so that merchants can both make their own decisions and we can sell more Clover. Thank you.

  10. Pizza slice shop with a line out the door needs this feature ASAP. Front counter staff needs to be able to add a name to the order for the cooks to warm up slices at the front counter and whole pizza cooks to make them in the kitchen. That name needs to be printed on order receipts in Bold. We don't need to waste time trying to lookup customers, don't need to collect their phone number nor email nor save them in the database. We have hundreds of customers. We just to add their first name and have it visible…

  12. Dayparts is currently applicable to "In Store (POS devices)" only. Make Dapyparts applicable to Online Ordering and 3rd Party Ordering (Doordash, GH, UE etc).

    This will enable to have menus available at specific day/time for online ordering too, in line with the In Store (POS devices) that's available currently.

  13. We really need a way to be able to transfer/change the server name on closed orders. This way if a mistake is made and the order is transferred to a manager's name or someone who just helps close out the tab, the business can adjust this when they notice the error and transfer it back to the correct server and have all tip reports adjusted so that this displays correctly.

  14. Because of food cost going up all the time, bakeries, sometimes have a lot of waste at the of the day. We need to be able to run a report that displays date, time, and items sold. That way we could have a better ideas on when to stop baking certain items during weekdays and weekends.

  19. Recently Clover released the feature that allows merchant to reopen completed table orders. This feature has been a great addition however merchants are only able to reopen orders if the payment was made with card.

    If the payment was made with Cash or Other Tender options then the order cannot be reopened. It can only be refunded. This does cause issues because sometimes merchants incorrectly mark the payment as cash or makes a mistake during split payments.

    The reopen feature works great with card payments but we need the merchant to have the ability reopen the order and reassign it…

  20. The dayparts for menu visibility on the Clover Station Duo, Clover Solo, Mini, etc. works great, however, the dayparts do not apply to the Kiosk, which seems like a weird oversight. We need the ability for the dayparts to also apply to the Kiosk menu visibility.
