Print head on Clover Mini does not last-receipts become illegible & the only solution is to replace the entire device? So wrong!gre
Clover Mini Print Heads should be replaceable. The rest of the machine works fine. It seems crazy to throw out a perfectly good machine when the print head should be able to be replaced. Plus I have a real problem with purchasing a new one to the tune of $700 when it won't even last a few years in a very small shop.
5 votesPeriodic cleaning of the print head should allow the printer to last the life of the machine. Print heads have been tested to >30 miles of printed paper with typical receipt content.

Online Ordering Options
There Should Be More Online Ordering Options Offered For The Merchants Sake!
Example:
My Set Pickup Time Is For 25mins. This time Frame works about 80% of the time but what happens when you get a massive order in that takes up your whole kitchen space and is not able to be ready within 25mins?
Its already too late to change anything on my settings because the order came through with a pickup time of 25 mins. Now my staff and kitchen are screwed because clover doesn't offer the Merchant any options to either accept the orders or at least…

Orders shown on KDS should be able to snake around rather than having to scroll down. Right now they have to scroll down to see the entire order. That is not ideal for a busy restaurant They are switching from toast and they have the ability to see the entire order without having to scroll.

Receipts
Payment receipts are so long compared to other pos systems. The spacing and font can be changed to help with this so we aren’t killing trees.

Disable Receipt Prompt on Duo
I just upgraded to Duo from our previous 2018 units. The customer facing screen of the Duo displays a receipt prompt at the end of every transaction, and I want to disable it.

Revenue Class needs to be able to be imported for items and category needs to be a filter option
Revenue Class is not currently exportable and there is no way to easily locate items when there are potentially thousands in a given Revenue Class in order to modify them. Also, it would be nice to be able to filter item list by Category

we should be able to eliminate the all item option on the Kiosk because it is a big mistake to have it as a first category on the top of the menu categories on the Kiosk, it is causing a lots of confusing for the customers because it is taking their attention away from the other categories and making them keep scrolling down on the screen especially that the items in the menu is organized alphabetically which causing the items to be spreed out randomly so on flavor of the coffee will be next of the sandwich depending on the…

Quantity Discounts for Mobile Ordering through Happy Hour App
For Online Orders- I want to be able to apply "Happy Hour" deals so that I can do a 2 for 1 discount specifically on a category or item. Please allow Happy Hour to reflect in the Online Ordering ( Clover App ) or for third party apps to contribute to quantity discounts/specials.

Item tracking for Modifiers and full recipes
We need to keep up with because they can track item stock quantity on a granule level through their modifiers and every item that goes into the entirety of the recipe.

CLOSE OUT
Cmon 10 years, and the Closeout app and what's in finance and deposits are not even close. (STILL).
Every owner feels like there is foul play since the closeout report total is always different than what appears in the merchant's bank account.

Smaller Kiosk Option
Hi, I just want to know if there are any plans to offer a smaller customer-facing kiosk unit?
The current one is nice, but too big/tall for stores with limited cash register space.
Ideally, the kiosk would be big but not big enough that it takes up space needed to do a manual/cash transactions right in front of/above it. Essentially taking up the spot where Clover Minis are usually placed in a Clover Duo Station set up (i.e. a screen facing the customer with the POS right in front of it).

Improve haptics vibrations on Flex 4 (gen4)
Please Improve haptics vibrations on Flex 4. It is totally different feeling from previous Flex such as gen 2 or gen 3. With Flex 4, you wont feel whether the item has been touched so ending up touching it multiple times.

Quantity Update
There was an update to the system last week that removed the ability to hold down on an item to change the quantity. We utilized that option all the time. Now, if you hold down you can change the item availability.
It would be nice to have the quantity back. Or, at least put a quantity bar at the top of the screen on the handhelds.6 votes -

Give the option in online orders for Dine In or Pick Up because a lots of customers sit on the table and place an order through the clover online and we always package it as a To Go order and not even call the customer name because we are waiting for the customer to come and claim it and we get surprise that the customer has been at the restaurant sitting on the table before the order has been submitted witch cost us to repackage it as Dine in and we lose the freshness of the food that the customer…

Open Orders
As part of our catering operations, we need the ability to view OPEN Orders that were entered at least 12 months in the past. We’ve been using the Clover system for four years, and until September 2024, we could access all open orders regardless of their age. However, we are now limited to viewing open orders that are 30 days old or less.
